Epos V-Style Watch 3439.322.20.26.30

Friends, hello everyone. You are on the channel about Feeltime watches, My name is Stanislav, and today we will look at a model from the Swiss brand Epos from the collection with the difficult to pronounce name Oeuvre D`art .

I would conditionally divide Epos watches into 3 categories.

The first category I would call "following trends". Here Epos does not strive to do something of its own, but on the contrary repeats the designs of iconic Swiss watches like Rolex.

Roughly speaking, it provides more affordable, Swiss alternatives.

I like this direction the least. Because here Epos is simply engaged in tasteless money-making.

Next come the frank art watches, which sometimes look so that you don't even need to wear them. That is, you can buy them, put them in a storage box, admire them, pass them on to your grandchildren, etc.

The watches in this category are really very beautiful, but at the same time very specific. Usually, by the way, they are produced in small editions of up to 900 pieces per model.

And the third category is exactly the watch that we will look at today.

These are models in which Epos has combined its signature art features, and there are really interesting complications on the dials, but at the same time the watches can be worn with confidence.

Here they are, our beauties. In Ukraine and in my store, including, 4 versions of this model are available today. 2 on bracelets, 2 on leather straps. The difference   is only in the color of the cases. Gold versions with PVD coating are more expensive.

In general, Epos almost always has a vintage style. Many elements indicate this.

In our model, of course, the core of the dial is the first thing that screams about it, which reminds me of the dial of an old grandfather clock.

There are Roman numerals on the hour markers and blued hands.

I would also call the onion-shaped crown a vintage element.

By the way, I want to note that the area around the crown seems to be knocked out from the inside. Such an unusual and complex oval shape.

We have Swiss mechanics on board. Caliber Sellita SW300. A mechanism with obvious complications.

Here we have Months and Days of the week, and Date, and the lunar calendar.

The movement has a power reserve of 42 hours and operates at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour.

You can admire it through the back cover of the watch. It seems to have a beautiful decoration and Geneva waves, but I probably can't say that it's super beautiful.

I want a little to the head. We do have a manual winding, and personally I lack some feedback from the head when I wind it. That is, it spins almost silently. And I don’t understand whether there is a winding or not. In fact, of course there is.

Returning to the design, I want to say that despite the vintage elements, this watch looks modern.

As for the style, it won't hold you back. I can see this watch with both casual clothes and a less formal suit.

I specifically tried them on with a sweatshirt, and to be honest, they were okay with me.

Today, you can blur many boundaries. That is, you can walk around in a T-shirt, and put on an expensive watch, which will quickly tell you that you have money for expensive things. You just don't bother.

By the way, a little educational program, but a watch is really an element that levels out many things. That is, you can really go out on the street dressed like a boy, in an expensive watch, and feel like the master of the entire Universe.

It's like falling out of an expensive car in a torn T-shirt. I know I'm exaggerating, but that's how it works.

The case of the model is made of 316l stainless steel and is quite complex.

It is completely polished. On the sides there are branded notches, on which the function control buttons are located. We will return to them later.

If you look closely, we have many steps and transitions. Even the welt is made in two stages.

In fact, these are minor details at first glance, but you don’t see anything like this in watches very often.

The bracelet is also quite complex. It is multi-link. Several links in the center are satin-finished, the rest are polished. This is correct, since the combination of polishing always gives more volume.

And a convenient butterfly-type clasp that hides the fastening mechanism.

Overall, the bracelet is pretty good, the only thing is that its geometry is not ideal. That is, some creases sometimes appear. But definitely nothing criminal.

The watch is quite heavy and large.

Let's take some measurements.

Diameter - 41.7 mm, from lug to lug - 51 mm, thickness - 10.7 mm, weight - 173 grams.

I have a thin hand, 18 cm in circumference. Overall, the watch fits well, but I can see from the lugs that the potential is greater for a wider wrist. That is, on a more massive wrist, this model will reveal itself better.

I have told you about the mechanism of the model, let me tell you about other characteristics.

This is 50 meters of water resistance, which is expected for a casual style. We wash our hands, we are not afraid of rain, but we do not swim.

This is a flat sapphire glass with anti-glare. Anti-glare works great.

And as I said, this model has complications in the form of an extended date and moon phase.

There are 4 buttons on the case, with which you can adjust all these functions. In principle, everything is natively clear.

I'll just comment on the fact that the long hand with the month on the tip is responsible for the date. That is, we have the 31st day of the month located at the very edge of the dial.

And you also change the phase of the moon. Here, as far as I understand, you simply look at the degree of fullness of the month in life itself and simply make the same drawing on the clock.

That is, if, for example, the moon is just beginning to rise, then on the dial you should have approximately this image.

Overall a very nice looking dial.

Here you have the style of a grandfather clock, as I said. Here you have a starry night with a moon. And by the way, there is a Swiss Super Luminova that illuminates it.

Of course, you need to get used to readability. Personally, I miss the moving element in the form of a second hand, but this watch is not really about readability.

On the contrary, they somehow calm you down.

Overall, I am ready to sum things up.

The price of the watch in my online store Feeltime is 138370 UAH. At the exchange rate today, this is equivalent to about $3300.

The watch is quite interesting. In terms of design, there is basically no competition in this segment. The Epos looks very specific and I can't think of a brand that makes something similar in this budget.

The design of the model is recognizable, the watch is made quite complexly. Not without complaints, but they are quite small. I have small comments only on the geometry of the bracelet.

In terms of the buyer of these watches, they can be quite different. These watches can be liked by conditionally and fans of models like Tissot, these watches can be liked by fans of vintage. And here is just a mix of a modern case and bracelet and vintage filling of the dial.

But personally, in my opinion, the starting age for the owner of this watch is at least 35 years old and up to the limit.

You can buy this model, its versions and other Epos watches from the official distributor in Ukraine with an official 2-year warranty in my Feeltime online store.

I will leave the links at the very bottom of the article, plus I will clarify that in large cities of Ukraine you can bring the watch to a physical store and pick it up there. For more details, please write to my personal Telegram , the link to which I will leave in the description of this video.

What do you think about Epos watches? How do you like this model? I hope you found it useful, please give me a like if so, and that's all from me. Stanislav was with you as always. Until next time. Bye!
