About Nethuns brand
First, a few words about the brand. Nethuns was founded in Singapore in 2015. This name "Netun" is taken from Etruscan mythology. That is how these ancient peoples called the God of the seas.
The owners of the company also own the Ocean X brand. The goal was to create chic quality homages for famous brands. And if Ocean X homage Rolex, then Nethuns took the legendary Seiko "Turtle" as a basis.
Why not buy Seiko, you ask? I answer ... The cheapest turtles from Seiko cost around 15,000 UAH. At the same time, it is very debatable which of the brands will have a better quality of finishes and materials, but at the same time, Netuns' characteristics at a significantly lower price are equal to the Seikovsky Turtles, which already exceed 20,000 UAH.
In total, we get at least the same quality watch with better performance and a price that is almost 2 times lower. Oh yes, the manufacturer allowed himself to release not only watches in stainless steel, which we will talk about in the following reviews, but also in bronze, which many watch fans love so much.
Bronze body of Nethuns
The watch case is made of bronze. Let me remind you that the peculiarity of bronze is a plaque (patina), which eventually appears on the watch. This is why many people love bronze so much, as the patina gives the watch a unique pattern that is characteristic of a particular model. The patina can be cleaned, but usually this is not done.
By the way, our model has already begun to gradually oxidize.
The case back is made of stainless steel and here you will find a shallow engraving of the brand and collection.
I really liked the quality of the case. There is excellent workmanship, a very soft and smooth screwed crown with an engraving of the first letter of the brands and an excellent quality 120 click bezel with a scratch-resistant ceramic insert. Plus, it is worth noting that the bezel is beautiful, green in tone with the dial. The move is soft, confident, without any backlash.
Watch sizes
By size. Bezel - 40 mm. The case diameter is 44 mm, the thickness is 15.8 mm and the weight is 128 grams. Ear to ear is 47mm. On the average wrist they look great, which I will demonstrate later.
Strap quality
The strap is made of high quality silicone. You can see the diamond texture on the outside and dimples on the inside, which will allow the hand to breathe a little better in summer. Very powerful bronze buckle with brand engraving.
Characteristics of the Nethuns Aqua Bronze watch
Let's move on to the characteristics. And here, as it should be for a micro-brand, there is a reliable and trouble-free Japanese movement Seiko nh35a with automatic winding. 42 hours power reserve, stop second and manual winding.
Separately, I want to highlight the thick sapphire, domed glass of 4.4 mm with anti-reflective coating. Even the most expensive Seiko Turtles can't boast of this.
And of course, water resistance at the level of 300 meters with a screw-down head for better tightness. You can dive with the watch.
On the hands, hour markers and bezel Swiss Super Luminova, which accumulates energy and glows in the dark.

Very beautiful green color. High volume marks and correct color length. Readability is top notch.
In the second model, the shape of the marks was slightly modified, an image of a submariner's helmet and some elements were added. It's already a matter of taste. Both dials look cool.
Watch on my hand
On my 18 cm wrist, the watch sits like a glove. Despite the small body. I like!
As a result, I would like to say that this is a chic, more affordable, and more fancy alternative to the Seiko "Turtle", and it is also an opportunity to get bronze in this case shape. Moreover, if you understand what a micro-brand is, then you know that usually these watches are made from the heart and really have a very high quality. This watch is an example.
