I want to note that in the near future there will be a series of reviews on Phoibos, as a fresh batch has arrived with new Voyager models, some of which have already been dismantled, with the new and most brutal Vortex . And today the review will be the latest edition of the Proteus collection in bronze cases.
And if I'm not mistaken, this is already the 4th edition of the Proteus watch. The collection is loved and Phoibos constantly updates it, without changing the design, but working with materials.
And if the previous version was on a bracelet, some of which I will show in this review, since several colors arrived that were not there before, then in the new version we have a bronze watch. And this is a specific material that many people love very much.
All possible colors of the novelty have come to my Feeltime store. True, the blue color was immediately dismantled, so it will not appear in the review. But there are 4 other wonderful colors. Let's consider.
I'll start with the packaging . In the new Proteus, this is an excellent quality travel case, which Phoibos usually add to their most expensive watches.
The cover is really comfortable and may well be useful.
If you know the Phoibos Proteus collection, you will immediately understand that there are no changes in terms of design.
All the same case shapes and dial texture. But of course they played with flowers.
The first color with a dial, which is also called salmon, that is, salmon color.
As I said, the case is made of bronze. Although outwardly now it looks more like stainless steel with gilding.
Let me remind you that bronze is a unique material that oxidizes over time and becomes covered with a patina (plaque). Thus, the watch acquires a vintage, unique pattern. For this, bronze is loved. In general, the patina can be cleaned if you do not like it.
The body is beautifully finished. The sides and top of the lugs are satin finished. Between the surfaces there is a strip of mirror polishing.
Sandblasted bezel. For 120 clicks. The move is very confident. There are no loopholes.
Head with a signature, ornate pattern and engraving of the octopus - the brand's logo.
The back of the watch is made of stainless steel and has an expensive engraving of the same logo. Only a microbrand can please with such elements for this price. Where will you find something like this among the Swiss or the Japanese for this money?
The case back of the watch also tells us that the watch has a professional water resistance of 300 meters and that it is a limited edition. Each model is released in the amount of 100 watches in the world .

Dimensions . Diameter - 42 mm, ear to ear - 49 mm, thickness - 14.5 mm, weight - 122 grams.
On my hand 18 cm. They sit perfectly in girth, but you should understand that the watch is quite large.
Here I would like to switch a bit to the previous version with the bracelet.
This model has exactly the same dial color. But you can see that the bezel is ceramic. In this case, the difference on the bezel is also the presence of the Swiss Super Luminova on the hands, markers and on the bezel. The bronze watch has a bezel without a light accumulator.
Also, the previous version was released as a non-limited edition. And of course it's stainless steel.
The bracelet, by the way, is of very cool quality. The finish is chic. The clasp, however, is not the most comfortable. But visually great.

Let's return to our novelty.
The strap is made of genuine leather. Embossed on the inside. It is smooth on all sides, so it should be in contact with water normally, although it is better, of course, to replace it with rubber.
In general, the quality of the strap is very good. Please note that the color is not solid. It is as if diluted with barely noticeable dark spots. And so on each model.
According to the characteristics, we can say a classic for this collection.
Named 300 meters of water resistance. Japanese mechanics with automatic winding Seiko NH35A. Working and time-tested horse. Sapphire crystal with internal and external anti-reflective and Swiss Super Luminova on the hands and indexes.
In fact, a complete mincemeat for such a price.

Main plate with grainy texture. Looks expensive and solid.
The plate with minute markings rises slightly. Brutal watch marks are seated on it, which create an excellent volume.
The second hand is made in an unusual form of lightning. Those in the know know where Phoibos got this idea from.
And I like the neat date window in the round window at 3 o'clock. Looks great.
What I want to say at the end
Let's start with prices. This is 15375 UAH for the version in bronze and 13900 UAH for the versions on the bracelet.
And I will not tire of repeating that for this price, no popular brand will offer you anything like this.
Here you will find both a chic quality finish for its price, and top-end features.
This is the essence of the microbrand, to give a lot for an affordable price.
The bronze version is more expensive than the version on the bracelet, for the reason that bronze is in principle a more expensive material, plus we have a limited edition.
