In 2021, the brand debuted this space-themed collection with a titanium case for the first time.
The model was ambiguously perceived by the fans of Phoebos. Someone admired, someone said that “sucks” and “bust”, in any case, the first revision of Apollo is still relevant today, so in some places I will talk about the old model in the review, in order to generally understand what we have changed in the novelty and in which direction Phoibos is moving.
Available colors
The novelty Phoibos "Apollo" came out in 5 different colors of the dial. 3 of them, including the most expensive and controversial, I brought in stock, and 2, in blue and orange, may come later.
And the first thing I want to immediately draw your attention to is, of course, the weight of the watch. Something that I will not convey to you through the camera screen. The titanium version weighs 134 grams, the new model is made of stainless steel and weighs an order of magnitude more - 202 grams.
And all this with equal sizes of case and bracelet. For me, this is definitely a plus. I love the pleasant heaviness on my hand, plus I'm generally quite cool about titanium.
The second point, which is obvious from a close comparison, is the crown, which in the titanium version was located in the lower right corner, and in the new version of the watch it moved to the lower left side of the case.
Purely visually, I like it, in terms of convenience, I don’t see any problems. My Citizen Promaster watch with exactly the same crown placement.
Yes, I can’t do any manipulations on my hand, but it’s not a problem for me to take off the watch and, for example, wind it up.
By the way, I can assume that for lefties it will be a super plus!
Other changes
As for other design elements, the bezel markings have been slightly changed and the dial has been overhauled.
And I'll tell you that the dial is very important in terms of design, so until I took two models in my hands, I did not understand that this is the same case and bracelet. That is, a different dial visually makes a completely different model out of a watch. Although it would seem...
In terms of readability, all models are on top.
Of the 3 models in stock, the most readable ones are just in an ambiguous, bright color. They have a chic contrast, plus an almost completely luminescent dial with chic markings. That is why they are more expensive than other models.
Since I mentioned the backlight, let's call it - it's 15 layers of Swiss Super Luminova and let's see in the dark.

Let me show you the dimensions: Case diameter 41mm, lug to lug 48mm, thickness 13mm, bracelet width 22mm.
How they sat on my hand
On my hand 18 cm in circumference sit perfectly. I would even say like a glove.
Case quality
A few words about the quality of the hull. The finish is good, all edges are well processed, 100% satin finish.
Basel with a confident move and a pleasant crackle, only the grip is not very comfortable. slips.
On the back cover is the same cartoon engraving of the astronaut, which can be seen on the previous version of the Phoibos Apollo.
Bracelet quality
The bracelet is awesome. Completely cast, including end links. Feels like silk. The finish is excellent, plus the links are screwed on, which is also a nice bonus.
Clasp of the old type with double fixation. Cast inside, stamped outside. It is convenient and reliable, but purely visually already outdated. I love the new phoibos crackers.
What are the characteristics?
According to the characteristics, we have, as always, full stuffing:

- Sapphire crystal with a triple layer of anti-reflective coating, which works really cool
- Water resistance at the level of 200 meters. The crown is screwed for better tightness, so you can safely press on the watch.

The price of this watch in our store today ranges from UAH 12870 to UAH 13650 in the most expensive model with a luminescent dial.
And for the current market, this is a great offer, as you get an interesting design, excellent quality of finishes and materials, plus TOP features. Only a microbrand can offer something like this.
Speaking for the model as a whole, I like it. Yes, watches are not for everyone, but Phoibos will always be appreciated. I would not say which is better - the old or the new model. These are different watches. It's just that the brand gives you the opportunity to choose what suits you best. Like light titanium - please, like stainless steel and a new type of dial - please too.
