The Venezianico brand was founded in Venice in 2017 by two brothers.
The vector was taken to create a casual, that is, high-quality everyday watch with a touch of Italian style.
And the style of these watches is an extremely important argument for choosing them, since the models that you will see will start at a price of 29,250 UAH and go up to 58,500 UAH.
You understand that in this price range Venezianico no longer competes with microbrands, although they compete with them too, but with well-known Swiss brands.
And it would seem that only a fool would buy a watch from a little-known brand in the world for that kind of money.
But only Venezianico has already managed to jump out of the category of microbrands, they are developing very dynamically and have begun to open their own branded boutiques.
Apparently there is something in these watches that makes people choose this particular brand over well-known Swiss watches in a similar price range.
So let's figure out what the secret of the Venezianico brand is. Let's watch the clock, and at the end we'll discuss a little more.
Let's increase the temperature gradually.
Accordingly, let's start with the Venezianico Nereide Ultrablack model - the most affordable watch from the selection.
By the way, no less interesting. On the contrary, this watch has some cool features.
One of them is the completely black dial, made from the patented Japanese Musou Black™ paint, which absorbs 99.4% of light. I am sure that 99.4% of you have never seen anything like this before. And me too.
By the way, the watch has no readability. There are only three highly polished hands and an applied Vevezianico cross logo.
Since most likely this watch will be bought by a man who already has something more practical and everyday, you need to understand that this model is more likely for beauty, in order to give you new emotions, in order to become part of your, individual style. For readability, you need to look in exactly the other direction.
The body is made to a solid 5+.
I want to say right away that in terms of case shapes, Venezianico does not reinvent the wheel. That is, they created several of their own forms and then played with the filling, sizes and colors.
That is, many Venezianico Nereide models will have a similar body shape.
The body itself is made of 316l stainless steel.
The sides and top of the lugs are satin-finished. The side surface on both sides is framed with a mirror-polished edging, which gives the watch a classy appearance.
The ears are quite complex. If you look closely, there are 3 distinct steps. This is already a certain attention to detail.
The head is comfortable and beautiful. Engraved with the Venezianico logo - cross. It is located under protective bulges.
By the way, the watch has a really cool 120-click bezel. Completely made of stainless steel.
At the zero mark there is a Swiss Super Luminova. The grip is very comfortable. And the rotation and accompanying sounds are quite expensive.
There is a nice engraving of an astronaut on the back of the watch. Like a hint of the unknown, the unknown. Here we immediately return mentally to the dial, which outwardly resembles a black hole in the Universe.
What also pleasantly surprised me about this watch is its unusual strap.
I've never seen anything like it either. It feels like regular textiles, but only stretches like rubber.
The point is that you can move this clip to fit your hand, then you literally stretch the strap, put it on your hand and fasten it with the clasp.
Generally a very convenient thing. I like it.
Well, since I have the watch on my hand, let’s take the dimensions.
Case diameter - 42 mm, from lug to lug - 48 mm, thickness - 12 mm, weight - 105 grams.
You know, I've been loving the 39-40mm watch sizes lately. My arm is thin - 18 cm in girth.
But I don't want to brand this watch. In terms of fit, they fit my hand perfectly. Everything else is your perception. If you like large watches - great. No, well that means no.

In general, it remains to voice the characteristics.
This is a Japanese mechanical automatic Seiko NH35A. 42 hours power reserve, has a STOP second, operates at a frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour.
A very reliable, unpretentious mechanism that always has parts in case of breakdowns.
The model's water resistance is 200 meters, so you can safely use it underwater.
And sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating.
The price tag for today in my Feeltime online store in Ukraine is 29,250 UAH.
The next model from the selection is the Venezianico Nereide Ultraleggero in all black.
And she also has her own chips.
One of them is again a unique, partially skeletonized dial, for which the Venezianico brand has a patent.
The dial looks like a layer cake:
First comes the mechanism itself, then a beautiful pattern that covers the protective coating, on which applied labels, an applied logo and other inscriptions are already placed.
I like that the hands and hour markers, as well as the case and bracelet, are coated. That is, they do not stand out from the overall design, but at the same time, with such a complex dial, the readability of the Venezianico is remarkable.
The dial is covered with sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating.
The model also has a Japanese automatic machine on board, but in a different caliber, Seiko NH70. In essence, in terms of characteristics, it is virtually no different from the Seiko NH35A, which we have already mentioned.
That is, a 42-hour power reserve, a STOP second and a frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour.
The case, as I said, is absolutely identical to the previous model, only here it is stainless steel with black PVD coating.
The quality of the finish, all the details are exactly the same as what we saw.
This model, by the way, now has several options with super bright dials and straps, which I recently showed you in the video “TOP 10 bright watches for SUMMER.”
The dimensions are, accordingly, identical to the previous watches, only due to the bracelet the watch is heavier. Weight - 175 grams.
On my arm it is 18 cm. The girth again fits very well. And the feeling of size is a matter of taste.
The bezel is also made of stainless steel with 120 clicks. There is already full markup here.
Move, sound, rotation. Everything is convenient and expensive.
On the back of the watch there is an engraving of the Vetruvian Man.
The watch bracelet is of excellent quality.
Venezianico has a patent for it (that is, there are already 2 patented parts in this watch).
The bracelet, according to the brand, is created using 16 unique shapes. It is wider at the case and tapers towards the butterfly clasp. The main links are in the form of rods, the internal ones are polished in the form of ovals.
Beautiful, comfortable and elegant bracelet.
It’s also good that they even sprayed the inside of the fastener. That is, they did not spare materials.
In terms of characteristics, I didn’t mention to you only the water resistance of 200 meters.

Our next model is Venezianico Nereide . And again with its own unique features.
The first is, of course, the dial, which looks like a starry sky in the Universe.
Very beautiful, rich, calming.
At the same time, readability was maintained excellent. Applied markers, well polished hands. There is a date window at 3 o'clock.

The dial color is complemented by premium violet rubber.
Very well done. Soft, flexible, comfortable. The only thing I miss is the quick change system. Moreover, you can again buy a branded bracelet for this watch separately.
The case is almost identical to the first model that I showed in the review, but there are some differences.
Firstly, on the back cover there is an engraving of the Nereide submarine. It is in her honor that the collection is named. This is an Italian submarine that was in service with Italy during WWII.
This case also has a small but very cool nuance.
The bezel is made of the strongest metal in the world - Tungsten. I don't know why it looks black on camera, but in real life this color looks like liquid metal if you watched the movie "Terminator 2".
An extremely unusual effect. Well, and, accordingly, strength is guaranteed.
There are no complaints about the quality of the bezel. Made to perfection.
These watches still have the same dimensions as previous models. The diameter is 42 mm, but due to the large arc of the rubber strap, I personally feel them a little larger.
That is, I would recommend this watch for a massive, male wrist.
There are differences in characteristics.
There is still, as expected, sapphire with anti-glare, water resistance - 200 meters, but a much more serious Swiss automatic Sellita SW200-1 is installed on board.
The mechanism has a 38-hour power reserve and operates at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour.
The mechanism is very in demand and popular. Many Swiss brands use it in much more expensive watches than these.
Although the price tag here, relatively speaking, is also not small.

Well, at the end I left you the most delicious thing.
Here is the Venezianico Nereide Carbonio watch, which seems to be basically similar to all previous models, but I think you can immediately see what the differences are.
And the differences are in the unique materials of the bezel and dial, which are made of forged carbon.
This is a material that is made from pieces of carbon fibers immersed in resin and cooked at extreme temperatures.
This is exactly the element that sets this watch apart from the mass of other models.
And this model combines beauty and excellent readability and functionality.
The bezel feels like granite. Unusual sensations. Very high quality, confident ride and expensive clicks.
Stainless steel case with black IP coating. In terms of quality, it is absolutely on par with all the watches that you could see in this selection.
On the back of the watch is again the Nereide submarine. Please note that all inscriptions are in Italian.
Let's refresh the dimensions.

The strap here is of great quality. Premium rubber. Very convenient. But, as I said, it creates a large arc, so it seems to me that my small hand is 18 cm. It is a little lost in girth.
I would recommend this watch for a larger wrist.

And on board is a Swiss mechanical self-winding Sellita SW200-1 with a power reserve of 38 hours, operating at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour.

And here we come to the most interesting part.
Who buys all this for that kind of money? Let me say it again. The price of the most affordable model that I showed is 29,250 UAH, and the price of the most expensive is 58,500 UAH, which in today’s terms is $1,400.
With such a price tag, Venezianico no longer competes with microbrands, but directly with Swiss and Japanese watches. Because for $1400 you can buy a lot of interesting things from both of them.
I’ll tell you this, saying: “For that kind of money it’s better to buy a Swiss one” is a very vague phrase.

How are they better?
What if I don't like them? Should I just buy it because I'm Swiss?
It is worth understanding that we often choose watches not analytically, but emotionally.
That is, if I like a certain watch, I will find a lot of arguments for myself why I need to buy it. At the same time, you can tell me about their shortcomings, that their mechanism is so-so. But I won't care. I just choose watches with my eyes and sensations.
There is, of course, another approach, I would call it the “techie’s approach” or the “from the mind” approach. But people use it less often.
So, Venezianico does enough to make their watches stand out and not like others.
These are some features and some interesting elements that you saw during the review.
Moreover, all these goodies are supported by very cool workmanship.
That is, they are at least on the same level as any Swiss at this price, and in some places they are even better in terms of detail.
And such quality by default cannot be cheap. But the engine of this watch, I repeat, is its unique design.
I am sure that buyers of the Venezianico brand choose these watches because they look unique and expensive, while, again, they are backed by appropriate, high quality.
