If you follow my channel, you know that my attitude towards the Orient brand is quite skeptical. Most models in the budget segment today do not quite correspond to the price-quality ratio.
And when I pick up a watch, conditionally, for UAH 15,000, and it has a cheap strap or the most budgetary clasp, I understand that Orient to some extent strayed from the market and rely more on their loyal audience.
But there are also some exceptions. This is a separate, premium branch of Orient Star. And I will tell you that this is not an empty phrase. That is, when I approach the Orient booth, Orient Star models immediately stand out from the general herd and attract attention to themselves in a good way.
And today I will just review with you one of the Orient Star models with the following reference RE-AV0115B00B.
Available in Ukraine there are 3 versions of this model. The most inexpensive one is simply made of 316l stainless steel, followed by a version on a bracelet and with a green dial, and the most expensive version, which I will show you today, is a watch with a pvd coating of the case. Due to this, the price is higher.
But in general, I’ll tell you that if you like the green color, and it’s right in trend today, then the version on the bracelet is ideal, since the bracelet in this watch will definitely be very high quality and much cheaper then either buy it or make a custom strap from genuine leather.
For me personally, this option is the most optimal of the proposed ones.

Equipment
I'll start, perhaps, with a complete set. Premium line and more expensive box. This watch comes with a nice, oblong box branded Orient Star.
All documentation and warranty card will be included. I did not take waste paper for the review.
Clock face
An expensively made dial is half the battle in a watch. And I can immediately determine that this watch belongs to an expensive series only by one dial.
Firstly, it is obvious from the open balance that this is a mechanic, and given that there are 2 additional dials, it is immediately clear that this is a mechanic with complications. Such a mechanism will not be delivered by default during budget hours.
manufacturing mechanism
On board this watch is installed its own in-house movement F6F44 on 24 jewels, with a frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour and with a power reserve of 50 hours. The power reserve scale is displayed in a separately displayed area at the top of the dial. It looks nice and is very comfortable.
Through the transparent case back of the watch, you can see the mechanism, and the quality of its workmanship and finish is only pleasing to the eye.
You can see the Waves of Geneva, the branded pendulum with a gold-plated, applied Orient Star logo.
It goes without saying that you will not find such a finish on Orient budget watches.
Let's go back to the dial.
I really like that it is deep and voluminous. Slots for balance deepen offhand by 3 millimeters. It looks great. I literally look at the dial, and I want to admire it. That's why I buy watches.
There is excellent readability here. Applied, silver-tone hour markers and a prominent Roman-style 12 o'clock marker with gold-tone pvd coating.
You can also see gold accents on the hour, minute, second hand, which is neatly placed in the lower, small dial, and on the applied Orient Star logo on the right side of the dial.
The balance window is an element for an amateur, but the smooth working of the mechanism really calms me down.
The hands and dot markers of the watch have a luminescent material that accumulates energy and shines in the dark.
The dial is covered with a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal.
Frame
In terms of the shape of the case, it seems to be nothing special, but in a fix with colors and a dial, the watch looks amazing.
The middle part of the case has a bronze coating. The color is very neutral, unobtrusive and looks just gorgeous.
The welt was made black.
At the same time, the side and upper parts of the case are satin-finished and there is a strip of mirror polishing at the junction of these surfaces. The combination of finishes gives the watch a good volume and high cost.
And in general, I have no questions about finishing. Everything is done at a fairly high level.
Dimensions
I took measurements myself. Diameter - 40 mm, from ear to ear - 48 mm, Thickness - 11.5 mm, Weight - 91 grams.

On my hand 18 cm. In girth, the fit is perfect. I want to tell you sincerely enough that I fell in love with this watch. How well they are made.
A genuine brown leather strap also leaves a pleasant impression. The texture is smooth both on the outside and on the inside.
Plus a very comfortable fit. This is a butterfly clasp that can be easily adjusted along the length of the strap to fit your wrist. It is both comfortable and made in this model very high quality.
Other characteristics
Of the unnamed characteristics, only water protection of 100 meters remained. For everyday hours, this is more than enough. You can not be afraid of the rain and feel free to wash your hands.
The head in the watch is not screwed, which is definitely a plus for everyday watches, so as not to wear out the thread once again, and in general it is very comfortable and harmoniously looks with the case.
Results
I'm ready to sum up.
The price of the watch today is 42090 UAH.
In my opinion, this watch is absolutely worth the money. They look very expensive and feel tactile. I do not see any hints of savings here, I do not see any visible shortcomings, rather a hill of advantages and pluses.
It's very nice that the watch has its own manufactory mechanism, and of course it's nice that this watch is completely made in Japan, when the budget Orient is partially assembled in Japan.
These watches evoke the feeling of an expensive and status thing, and, as I said earlier, the more I held them in my hands, the more they aroused my sympathy.
