In general, Rado from the HyperChrome collection appears on my channel for the first time. And those watches that we will see today stand out brightly from the model range, not only from the Rado brand, but also from the collection itself.
They are big and brutal. On a massive man's hand. And in this segment, it is not so easy to find watches with a diameter of 44 mm. Please write options in the comments if they come to mind.
The watch comes in a classic, white box in white color. Cheap cardboard. It would seem that there is nothing interesting, but the brand spends money not on external pathos, but on practicality, since inside you will find an expensive Rado case for carrying watches. And it's really convenient and useful.
The watch immediately stands out on the Rado stand due to its size, color and texture of the strap.
Perhaps I'll start with the strap . This is a premium leather with a rough texture. Embossed on the inside and you can see the inscription that says that the strap is handmade.
A very pleasant and comfortable flapper clasp only enhances the positive emotions from the strap.
The body looks simple at first glance, but the shapes are actually quite complex. The side part is mirror polished and you can see that there is a bulge that seems to be a smaller part of the main body.
High quality mirror finish. Like the satin finish on the top of the lugs.
Buttons and head are very large and comfortable. Great for fingers. As well as easy to operate the crown.
I have spoken more than once about the large size of the watch . Let's voice them.
Case diameter - 44 mm, ear to ear - 51.7 mm, Thickness - 15.1 mm, weight - 117 grams.
I want to say that despite the size, even on my small hand 18 cm in girth, the watch sits well. The strap is very comfortable.
Of course, the icing on the cake of this watch is the dial .
Very nice blue color with the effect of "sun rays".
Very large surface. The minute scale is slightly recessed, and the hour markers in the form of Arabic numerals, on the contrary, rise. All this gives the watch gloss and high cost.
On the right side of the dial there is a branded anchor, which also rotates during movements and is connected with the mechanism. And of course the Rado logo overlay.
Along the edging of all this beauty is a bezel with a tachometer scale, which emphasizes the sporty style of the model.
The watch is equipped with its own caliber 03.603.011 on 25 jewels with a power reserve of 54 hours. You can admire the mechanism through the back of the watch.
Sapphire crystal with external and internal anti-glare, water resistance - 100 meters. All this is a classic for watches in this style.
Results
The price in Ukrainian stores today is UAH 110,880, which is equivalent to $2,900 at the exchange rate.
Are they worth their money? Rado is definitely always worth it.
Here you have a brand, and style, and quality, and detailing, and your own mechanical chronograph. The dial is just magical.
Plus, it is worth noting that there are not so many competitors in terms of size and style at this price. Longines Hydroconquest comes to mind. Well, maybe Tag Hoer Carrera certain models, but there the price tag will be significantly higher for such quality.
