Certina DS-2 C024.407.11.041.01 is a modern 2023 reissue of the brand's vintage 1968 model.

The watch case and bracelet are made of 316l stainless steel.
The quality of the case is excellent. The finish combines a combination of satin and mirror polishing. When polished, I am reflected as if in a mirror, which is an excellent indicator of quality.
The case itself is made in the popular “cushion” shape, and its vintage feel is enhanced by a convex, sapphire crystal with one-sided anti-reflective glass, which, moreover, creates a pleasant distortion of the dial. As if it also has a convex shape.
The dial itself is laconic, expensive, and easy to read. The hands and hour markers are coated with Swiss Super Luminova, which accumulates energy and glows in the dark.
The watch is equipped with a modern, Swiss Powermatic 80.611 movement with a huge power reserve of 80 hours and an innovative Nivachrone hairspring, resistant to magnetic influences, shocks and temperature changes.
The water resistance of the model is 200 meters. In the end, the “progenitor” of these watches were divers. This watch follows in the same footsteps.
