There haven't been any design changes, as it's already essentially iconic. Only the materials, color, and content have been updated.
The case is made of lightweight and durable titanium with a DLC coating, comparable in hardness to diamond, while the bezel is a first for ceramic. The strap is a combination of rubber and textile and features a quick-change system.
The model also features a unique carbon fiber dial. It offers excellent legibility and detail. The hands and indexes are coated with Swiss Super Luminova, which stores energy and glows in the dark. The dial is topped with scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating.
The watch is powered by a Swiss-made ML1000 automatic movement with 26 jewels and a respectable 60-hour power reserve. It operates at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour.
Water resistance is 100 meters. The crown screws down for a secure seal. Swimming is safe.
