Ocean Crawler is a young American microbrand that makes everyday diving watches with amazing quality and bright, sometimes even somewhat outrageous designs.
These watches are definitely made to the highest standard and, in a good way, attract attention, standing out from the huge crowd of other brands.
The new Ocean Crawler Core Diver - Garibaldi LE features the signature "turtle" shape. Its 316L stainless steel body boasts a luxurious finish and attention to detail. It also features a scratch-resistant DLC coating, comparable in hardness to diamonds.
The model is inspired by the vibrant orange hues of California's marine life. Incidentally, orange is officially considered the most readable color underwater. Only 100 pieces of this model were produced worldwide. This information is available on the case back.
The watch comes with a rugged stainless steel mesh bracelet with an expensive clasp (with a diving extension) and a strap made of exotic stingray leather, which beautifully highlights the color scheme of the case.
The dial is perfectly legible. The hands and indexes are coated with Swiss Super Luminova C3, which stores energy and glows in the dark. The dial is covered with scratch-resistant sapphire crystal.
The watch is powered by a time-tested Swiss automatic movement, the Sellita SW200-1, with a 40-hour power reserve and a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour. It is water-resistant to 600 meters, making it safe for diving. A helium escape valve stabilizes the pressure inside the case, and the crown screws down for improved watertightness.
