2021 relaunch of the popular Eagle Ray GMT model on Swiss quartz from the microbrand Phoibos.
The changes affected only the strap. Now it uses a quick change system, which is very convenient. In all other respects, this is a good old model, which a few years ago fans of the brand liked so much that it was sold out like hot cakes, and Foibos decided to satisfy the demand with a re-release.
The watch case is made of stainless steel with sandblasting, which makes it matte. The finishing is, as always, at a very high level. I also liked the strap. It has good thickness, pleasant flexibility, and generally fits the hand very comfortably.
Special attention to the dial. A very expensive gradient, the most detailed elaboration of all elements. Readability 5+. The hands, hour markers and inner bezel feature 12 layers of Swiss Super Luminova, which stores energy and glows in the dark. Glows brightly and for a long time. Well, the dial is covered by a domed, scratch-resistant glass with a triple layer of internal anti-reflective glass.
For travelers, the watch has a 2nd time zone function and a separate hour hand with a red tip.
