In the new version of the Narwhal collection, dedicated to the unusual ocean creature whose engraving you'll find on the case back of the watch, the Phoibos has been reduced in size, somewhat in line with current trends. Many watches are being made more discreetly.
The case is made of 316L stainless steel. Its barrel-shaped form is reminiscent of the 1970s. Complex shapes and excellent finishes complement the case. A geometrically intricate bracelet with a silky feel complements the case. The clasp is extremely comfortable, featuring a clasp with a diving extension.
The bezel rotates 120 clicks counterclockwise. It is made of ceramic.
The model is equipped with a precise and low-maintenance Japanese Citizen Miyota 9015 automatic movement. It has a 42-hour power reserve, a stop second, and a manual winding function. It operates at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour.
The watch dial is perfectly legible. Furthermore, the hands and markers are coated with 15 layers of Swiss Super Luminova, which stores energy and glows brightly in the dark. The dial is covered by a sapphire crystal with three layers of anti-reflective coating.
Water resistance is 200 meters. Suitable for swimming and scuba diving.
