The Phoibos Vortex PY042D watch is the fruit of long work and improvement of the Phoibos brand.
Starting with a certain homage, the brand has reached the point where it creates watches in an absolutely unique design and with a quality that can easily compete with many Swiss and Japanese watches at twice the price.
The model has a brutal, rounded body with chic elaboration and detailing. The sides have wave-like engravings, one of the heads is responsible for the movement, the other rotates the inner bezel. Moreover, each of the heads has its own unique design.
In general, the watch is made in the spirit of the Super Compressor models, in which the bezel is just under the glass and is adjusted by the top button.
The dial deserves special attention. The sharp forms of the elements give it, again, brutality and masculinity. Readability is at a height, which is expected for a diving watch with a water resistance of 200 meters. Swiss Super Luminova on the hands and markers, which glows very brightly in the dark. Closes all this beauty sapphire glass with six! layers of anti-reflective coating.
The case is paired with a leather strap of the highest quality. The strap is water-repellent, plus you will find a silicone strap specially designed by Foibos in the kit.
And of course, this model, unlike all its predecessors, boasts a serious Swiss movement SW200, which runs on 26 jewels, at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour with a power reserve of 38 hours. And between the mechanism and the back cover of the Phoibos watch, an anti-magnetic plate was installed.
