This watch was once my go-to, and in 2025, Phoibos reissued it in its original design. The new model features new colors, a quick-change strap system, and an improved clasp (now with a diving clasp).

The model was first released in August 2020. Some claimed Phoibos was producing watches in small batches and they were selling like hotcakes. This sounded like a marketing ploy. However, in October of that year, not a single color of the new Voyager model was available on the official website.

At the end of May 2021, Foibos finally re-released this hit and called it Voyager 2.0. The new version is a tad thinner.

I'll be honest, I'd been eyeing this watch for a long time. I even looked for used options. When all the colors finally arrived at our store, I settled on the 2nd, choosing between emerald and blue.

This watch looks stunning, expensive, and solid. The quality of the finish and detail are so high that you won't be able to pinpoint its true value. I'll say it's priced at $800, and it's hard to argue with that, as watches that cost more or less $800 look just like that. Buying a Phoibos doesn't give you the opportunity to flaunt a well-known brand. But you can brag about how a young microbrand is putting the big boys to shame at a very affordable price.

The case of this model resembles the legendary Rolex Submariner. And the dimensions are identical. Some say this is nonsense, but swapping the bezel and dial makes the resemblance even more striking. This is actually a compliment to Phoibos. Instead of simply copying it, they created their own unique look, with a twist.

As always, the specifications were several times higher than any popular brand for the same price:

• Japanese mechanical movement with automatic winding Seiko NH35A (very reliable and unpretentious mechanism)
• Scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. 3 layers of anti-reflective coating (excellent readability at all viewing angles)
• A clear and confident 120-click bezel with a metal insert. It looks very solid!
• 15 layers of Swiss Super Luminova BGW9 on the hands and hour markers (accumulate energy and glow brightly in the dark)
• Professional water resistance - 200 meters (hence the case thickness of 13.5 mm)

All in all, I'm incredibly happy with this watch. It's incredibly well-made, looks incredibly expensive, and has absolutely top-notch specs. Just go to the store and compare what more popular brands offer for this price. You'll have no questions left.
