The Spinnaker Dumas CHALK GRAY SP-5081-KK watch is a new product for 2022 from the Spinnaker microbrand from the Dumas collection.
This series is dedicated to Frederic Dumas, who at one time was part of the Jacques Cousteau team and made a significant contribution to the development of the diving industry.
The watch is brutal, large, weighty. The model has its own clear and recognizable style, which the Spinnaker brand has practically not changed in comparison with the previous generation. What has changed is the bracelet. In previous versions it was a unique “chain mail”, which many both liked and found uncomfortable. In this new product, the guys decided to make a more classic and familiar bracelet of high quality.
In general, the model perfectly conveys the style of diving watches of the 70s of the last century. This is evidenced by the shape of the case, the markings of the dial, and even the bezel was made of aluminum, deliberately emphasizing the vintage feel of those years.
Considering the diving angle of the watch, its water resistance is 300 meters. The head is screwed down for better sealing of the case.
The watch is equipped with a reliable and unpretentious Japanese movement from Seiko with caliber NH35A.
