Recently, I have already shown you watches from the nominal collection of Baer - the main survivalist of the planet. Well, for those who haven’t watched it, I’ll literally tell you in a nutshell that Bear Grylls is a star in the world of extreme conditions and the Luminox company has created a personal line in tandem with him for people who share the same values.
Well, if we talk about the values that Luminox watches carry in general, then this is, of course, an active lifestyle and extreme conditions for which these watches are created.
The watch comes in a branded plastic Luminox case with accompanying documentation. Plus, the outer overlay is branded with Baer symbols and the slogan "Never Give Up" (never give up).
Strap
What immediately catches the eye is a bright orange rubber strap. The quality of the belt is great. Very soft and supple. Plus, there is no extra friction when you insert the free end into the retainers. This is important, as it is not very convenient to pull the belt through the trenches with effort.
The clasp is very strong, with Luminox engraving. The quality is top notch again.
The only thing is that the belt is very easily soiled. Even on a new copy, black marks appear. So get ready to care.
Carbonax body
The watch case is made of a unique, patented Carbonax material, which is resistant to shocks, strong temperature changes and generally feels very pleasant to the body. Not hot in summer, not very cold in winter.
There are stainless steel elements. This is the back of the watch again with a deep and stylish engraving of the "Never Give Up" slogan and almost all the characteristics, a crown on the side of the case with an orange tack and an aluminum part of the bezel from 0 to 20 minutes.
Bezel 60 clicks counterclockwise. The grip is very comfortable. This is good, because the watch has a professional water resistance of 200 meters and the bezel can be useful underwater.
But the glass is mineral, and here I think that it was necessary to put sapphire. Moreover, the price of the watch is not the lowest.
Clock face
The dial has a deliberately shabby texture and it looks quite stylish. Readability is at its best here, plus do not forget that Luminox is tritium tubes that shine without the need for energy storage for 25 years.
At the bottom of the dial, again, the slogan "never give up", and at around 10 o'clock the icon of a hut, which are the identification marks of the Baer Grylls collection.
Mechanism
On board the watch is a Swiss, quartz movement. I did not find the caliber, but apparently this is not an expensive Ronda movement. Not expensive, but quite reliable. In this regard, you should not worry.
Dimensions
The dimensions of the watch are 44 mm along the bezel, 52 mm from ear to ear, thickness is 14.5 mm, strap width is 21 mm, weight is 76 grams, which is an excellent indicator for such dimensions.
On my arm 18 cm. In girth they sit like a glove.
