Friends, hello everyone, Stanislav is with you and today we will consider the novelty of 2022 from the Swiss brand Luminox from the Navy Seal collection.

Luminox 3580 Series Navy Seal Watch

The model of the 3580 series, as it is also called by the Luminox themselves, came out in 4 colors. Almost all of them arrived in Ukraine. I held only 2 in my hands. We will consider one in the review, I will intersperse one during the video on my hand.  

And yes, I was a little surprised, but the green dial is now on sale for 10705 UAH at a 50% discount. I don’t know how long the discount will last, but the watch itself will end earlier - that’s for sure. The total price of each color is 21410 UAH for today.  

Let me remind you that the Navy Seal series pays homage to the Navy SEALs and was developed from the very beginning for the US Navy SEALs. The brand carries the idea that the loads of each subsequent day should be stronger than the previous one, so that yesterday seemed easier.  

And the inscription "the only easy day was yesterday" documented this idea on the watch face.

As for the design of the watch, I will say that it looks very brutal and masculine. Visually, I enjoy the watch. They are definitely to my taste.

Carbonax body and tritium tubes

There are things that remain unchanged for the brand. This case is made of the patented Carbonax material, which is resistant to shocks, shocks and temperature effects, and these are, of course, tritium tubes on the hands and watch markers, which do not need to be recharged with energy and shine in the dark for 25 years.  

Fixed and 60 click bezel with specific rotation as it is also made of carbon. The bezel has a very comfortable grip, pleasant clicks and a confident move.  

The head has an engraving of the Luminox brand and protective laps on the sides. On the reverse side of the case is engraved water-resistant characteristic - 200 meters. The watch can be immersed. Although it's a little strange that the buttons do not screw down. The series is still a diver.

The back of the watch is made of 316l stainless steel and engraved with the brand's logo. This is an eagle that has grabbed a trident, with an anchor and a gun. So to speak fully equipped.  

Watch sizes

The case diameter is declared 45 mm, but I don’t even know how to measure it correctly, since the shapes are quite complicated. It shows 44 mm for me.

From ear to ear - 50 mm, Thickness - 15 mm. The width of the strap is 24 mm at the case and narrows slightly towards the edges to 22 mm.  

Weight - 88 grams

On my arm, 18 cm in girth feels very cool. This is definitely my size. Well, here let's show you another color.

Strap quality

The strap is made from premium rubber. Incredibly soft and flexible. It is branded, has cool and comfortable latches and a high-quality stainless steel clasp.

Clock face

Let's pay attention to the dial. He's worth it. Very stylish, grainy texture. The chronograph dials are slightly recessed, which gives additional volume. I like that the second hand of the chronograph matches the slogan and partial bezel markings.  

And the date on the black backing, the patched logo and the hour markers are obvious amenities.  

The dial looks expensive and balanced.

Characteristics of the Luminox 3580 watch

According to the indescribable characteristics, I note the Swiss, quartz movement. Unfortunately, the manufacturer does not indicate the caliber, but in terms of functionality, I think it is Ronda. By the way, the stopwatch here can count up to 12 hours in the lower, small dial.

The watch also has a tempered mineral glass. The fact that it is tempered is good, plus the glass is structurally located just below the bezel marks, so it will be difficult to touch it.  

Results

I'm ready to sum up.  

This model belongs to the category of those that I pick up and mark myself with a tick in my head “maybe I will buy myself”. So I recently had with Citizen Pro Master, with which I successfully replenished my collection of watches. PS At the time of the publication of this article, I still bought myself a watch with a green dial.

The Luminox 3580 series looks great, is very well built and has a nice price. If this is your style, I give my best recommendations, you will be satisfied.
