A selection of titanium watches at Feeltime
A selection of titanium watches
Friends, hello everyone, you are on the Feeltime watch channel, with you as always Stanislav, and today we will have a selection of titanium watches, which will feature both Japanese and Swiss watches, as well as microbrands.
That is, you will have the opportunity to look at the difference in different classes.
Well, I, in turn, want to say that titanium is usually about lightness, strength, and comfort. Because titanium is 30% lighter than stainless steel. For me, for example, it's enough to pick up a titanium watch to understand the material simply by its weight.
But titanium also comes in different grades. It has a gradation of alloy hardness, more expensive watches have protective coatings, because for some reason people made up that myth that titanium doesn't scratch. It's not true - it scratches.
Unfortunately, you will rarely find information in the watch description about whether or not there is a protective coating, or what the hardness rating is.
But I'm still inclined to think that if nothing is indicated, then there is nothing, because if there is something to brag about, the manufacturer will write about it.
Well, that's it. A little theory. I personally don't like titanium because of its matte shade, but I know that many of you have a different opinion, so let's see what I have prepared for you.
Citizen Super Titanium CA4444-82L watch
And let's start with the simplest, in my opinion - these are the Japanese Citizen from the Super Titanium collection.
In fact, the Citizen brand has long been famous for producing a huge number of titanium watches. If you look at the assortment, you might even get the impression that most of the model range is made of titanium.
And this is not surprising, because Citizen makes watches for active people. That's why most of them are quartz, that's why Eco Drive technology was invented, in which the watch is powered by light rays, and the battery in which works up to 12 years. Our watch has exactly this technology. And titanium. Light, comfortable, practical.
I would say that it's a completely classic Citizen design. A sporty case, a sporty dial. There's even something of a touch of motor racing.
I specifically looked at the case and bracelet, maybe I'll find some pieces to show how it looks on titanium, but I didn't find any.
The case is made concisely, but quite well-made. Good quality finish.
The black bezel with a tachymeter scale nicely emphasizes the color scheme.
The buttons are comfortable and even click loudly, which is good because you know they have worked.
The bracelet is of good quality, but definitely not top. The case is noticeably loose. Otherwise, the quality is quite good for the price of the Japanese. A combination of polishing and matte, outer links. Classic Citizen clasp "clapper". Stamped.
The dial is quite nice.
Maybe it's just me, but the middle part seems lighter than the edges. It's like an oceanic color.
The chronograph functions and 12/24-hour scale are placed inside, so there is a clear separation between the main time and auxiliary functions. Readability is not bad.
The dial is covered by sapphire glass and is water resistant to 100 meters. This means you can swim, but not dive.
Well, the sizes.
Diameter - 43 mm, from lug to lug - 49 mm, thickness - 12 mm, weight - 98 grams.
The boys are big, but I would say that even on my small hand of 18 cm. they fit well in volume.
For the money, it's very good for the Japanese. Not bad quality, nice, and individual look. That is, it is clear that this is Citizen. Plus titanium, plus Eco-Drive. Today the price is 19,700 UAH and this, I repeat, is not bad. You can order the watch HERE .
Spinnaker Tesei watch
Next, I want to show you a new product from the Spinnaker brand. Incidentally, it's the brand's first titanium watch from the Tesei collection.
When comparing, I immediately want to say about the quality of the finish. Spinnaker has better quality.
Here you can see both the detail of the finish and a more gentle satin finish. That is, when you see these moments, the watch itself is perceived as more expensive.
This is a diver's watch with a water resistance of 200 meters, and a fairly comfortable and secure bezel. There is no play.
The head is quite large and comfortable. Under protective covers. Screws on.
The bracelet is at a level not lower than the case, which pleases me. The workmanship is excellent. It does not move around on the mount with the case.
The clasp is expected for the brand. Folding with double fixation. Cast on the inside, stamped on the outside. There is a simple diver's extension.
Quite a big clock
Diameter - 42 mm, from lug to lug - 52 mm, thickness - 13 mm, weight - 130 grams.
It is smaller in diameter than the Citizen, but the lugs are longer and thicker, which is why it is perceived visually as larger.
This is a Japanese mechanical Seiko NH35A. The power reserve is 42 hours, it operates at a frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour, the passport error is from 20 to 40 seconds per day, but in reality it is usually better.
This model comes in three dial options. All of them are quite beautiful.
This one has a nice gradient from green to black. The surface itself is made in the signature, grainy texture of the Spinnaker brand, with the logo superimposed on the top.
The hour markers are also superimposed, which gives more volume.
Excellent readability, plus Swiss Super Luminova on the hands and markers.
This watch comes in a large, gift-sized diving case.
The price tag today is 31,275 UAH. It is beautifully made and looks great, but for this price I would like to see a higher-level mechanism in a small brand. You can order HERE .
Swiss watch Epos TITANIUM 3504.131.80.35.55
Next, I want to show you the most expensive watch from the selection today.
This is Epos Sportive. An independent Swiss brand.
A few interesting points at once. Well, first of all, it is an obvious homage to the Rolex Submariner. And if you put the Spinnaker Tesei next to it, it becomes clear where the Spinnaker's legs grow from, but they are somehow further from the Rolex in design, in my opinion.
Here I would say that Switzerland is a budget option for those who want a Rolex, but are not yet ready for a Rolex.
What's interesting is that the case coating doesn't give away that it's titanium at all. And for me, that's a huge plus. But when I pick it up, it's immediately clear that it's titanium, because I know how the weight of this watch feels on stainless steel.
The fact that it is titanium is indicated only on the back cover of the watch, although this characteristic is usually written on the dial. Here you will also find a nice engraving of a diver. And this is a professional diver with water resistance of 500 meters, where the head is screwed, and there is a helium valve to stabilize the pressure in the case.
Overall, I like the quality of the case more than anything I'll show you today.
Bezel with ceramic insert for 120 turns. Very convenient and comfortable.
Like the head. It's really just a big, healthy thing. But the watch itself is really made for diving. That is, it's not just a decorative tool.
The dial also emphasizes this. Huge Arabic numerals, date under the cyclops. Swiss Super Luminova.
That is, everything is done to make the time easy to read and comfortable to use the watch underwater.
The strap is also of excellent quality. Very comfortable, feels like a really expensive strap.
Quickly put it on my hand, took it off without any problems.
In terms of dimensions, our diameter is 41.5 mm, from lug to lug - 49 mm, thickness - 13.3 mm, weight - 101 grams.
They fit my hand like family. They sit and feel very comfortable. And for such great water protection, they are actually small in size.
The model is equipped with a Sellita SW200 Swiss automatic movement with a power reserve of 38 hours, which operates at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour.
This is exactly the mechanism that the Spinnaker Tesei lacks for their price and which I hinted at a bit.
The price tag today is 68,540 UAH. And here some components already play a role. Independent, old Swiss brand, quite serious characteristics, and the quality is really nice. You can order HERE .
Switzerland is good like that.
Swiss watch Certina DS Action Titanium C032.434.44.087.00
Well, to be consistent, I want to show another titanium Swiss watch in contrast. This is Certina from the DS Action collection.
And here again the same matte color as the Citizen. Although here the contrast is immediately visible in the shade of the bracelets. I will tell you from experience that with the Citizen you can immediately see that the titanium is inexpensive.
Sertina's bracelet is made with high quality. It has good geometry, is beautifully finished. It doesn't move around with the case.
Plus a really big buckle with a diver's extension. This buckle, for example, is a head taller than the one on the Spinnaker.
That is, the case and bracelet as a whole are solidly "good".
There are of course some questions.
The bezel is not comfortable at all. Very slippery and insecure.
The aluminum insert may also scare someone. In a watch for 45,980 UAH. Although it is precisely it that beautifully emphasizes the design.
The buttons are all screwed in. In principle, they are as convenient as it was possible to make them at this size.
Well, yes, it's quartz. But there's good news, it's not just quartz, but a chronometer with the ETA G10.212 caliber. That is, the error per year will be from 5 to 10 seconds.
The dial is nicely made.
The chronograph windows are quite large and recessed. Note that the stopwatch functions are highlighted with red arrow tips for convenience.
I like that the labels are superimposed, and some of them are nicely highlighted in Arabic script. Polished well.
Plus Swiss Super Luminova.
Dimensions - 43 mm diameter, from lug to lug - 51 mm, 13.67 mm thickness, and 114 grams weight on the full bracelet.
A huge guy. It just so happens that all the watches in the selection today are quite massive. But again, it sits well on my hand.
I repeat that Sertina currently costs 45,980 UAH. Not a lot, if we are talking about a quartz watch. But quartz is different. And here is just a super accurate chronometer. Plus there is simply the pricing policy of the brand. A mechanical chronograph will definitely not fit into this budget, and quartz is actually more suitable and practical for this style.

And for last, I left the watches from the Phoibos microbrand from the Apollo collection.
Phoibos Apollo PY041A watch
This model was released in different color options a few years ago, and in 2024 the brand re-launched a small number of two of them. These are the Jungle dial and the Lava dial.
And this, by the way, is the only watch that claims the strength of titanium. And it claims HV1200 on the strength scale of this material. Plus, it claims additional protection against scratching.
I tried to look at this watch next to the Sertina and from the side they are very similar. The Sertina has a slightly better case finish.
Although I definitely like the bezel better on Phoibos. It's comfortable, well-made, and has a DLC black coating that's as strong as a diamond.
The head with the branded octopus is also more comfortable.
The bracelet is also really complicated and handsome. The workmanship is top-notch. No fuss with the case. On screws. Probably the best of the bracelets I've shown today.
Although the outer part of the clasp is kindergarten compared to the same Sertina. It fits this model well, but is very simple. Although the inner part is cast.
The dials are very unusual. The model itself is dedicated to the Apollo space expedition. Therefore, the hands and markers here look like a rocket, or parts of it.
Super bright 15 layers of Swiss Super Luminova.
The readability is top notch. And I really like how these dials shimmer in an unusual way. There's something to attract attention.
300 meters of water resistance, sapphire crystal with 3A anti-reflective layers, and on board the Japanese Citizen Miyota 9015 movement with a power reserve of 42 hours, operating at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour.
Dimensions - 41 mm diameter, from lug to lug - 48 mm, thickness - 12.5 mm, weight - 127 grams.
It fits very well on my 18 cm arm. In volume.
The price today is 23,100 UAH. In fact, for such quality, ideas and characteristics, this is a gift price. In principle, something similar in price can only be expected from microbrands.
You can order the watch HERE .
I just finished looking at the watches. I want to say that they are all beautiful. I kept them together in the end with the thought that they all have a place to be and are all good in something. Without any terrible flaws that might stop you from buying them.
In conclusion, I want to emphasize once again that titanium is a special material. Not everyone likes it. You saw that all the options except Epos are matte. I, for example, don't like it. But Epos did a great job in this regard.
Titanium is lighter and more comfortable. Some people find this a plus, while others prefer heavier watches.
Titanium, which is important, but I didn't say it, is more expensive than stainless steel. That is, if you see similar models, and one of them is titanium, then the price tag will be higher than the stainless steel version.
So it's up to you to decide whether it's right for you or not, but I've just shown you a few good options within an affordable budget.
You can buy all these beauties from an official dealer with an official 2-year warranty in Ukraine in my online store Feeltime.
I will leave a link to each model in the article itself.
So, what do you think about titanium? Tell me what you wear, how it is used, how it feels after a certain period of time? Please like my work, subscribe if you want to see my reviews in the future, and that's all, Stanislav was with you as always, until we meet again. See you soon.
