Friends, hello everyone, you are on the Feeltime watch channel, with you as always Stanislav, and today we will look at a new product from the Phoibos microbrand from the Apollo collection

In fact, this is a redesign of the 2021 model, which for the first time within the brand was dedicated not to diving themes, but to space ones.

That is, Phoibos has kept the design, but added a lot of new colors. And most importantly, it has reduced the size from 42 mm to 39 mm in the new model. That is, those who found the previous version too big will now be able to fully enjoy the Apollo models.

So let's end our introductory speech with this and look at the clocks, and we'll talk about the conclusions at the end.

The new product was released in a total of 5 versions of dial colors. And as a bonus, each color was also placed in a stainless steel case, and a stainless steel case with DLC black coating, which is comparable in strength to diamond and is difficult to scratch.

Speaking of design, as I said, there are no changes from the previous version.

This model was dedicated to the Apollo expedition to the Moon and has elements of a space theme on the dial itself.

This is a sandwich dial. And you can see that the hands and markers are made like rockets.

Grainy, rough texture, excellent readability due to large markings and a separately displayed minute mark along the edge of the dial.

The date is placed very unobtrusively at the 3 o'clock mark. In each color, the date repeats the color of the dial. This is real attention to detail.

Well, there must be a royal lumina, the Swiss Super Luminova BGW9. Let's take a look.

The crown in this model is conveniently placed at the 4 o'clock mark. It looks good and is comfortable in that the crown will not dig into your wrist. Plus, there is a nice engraving of the brand logo - an octopus is also on the crown.

By the way, the back cover is blank here. Usually in this city there is also a deep engraving of an octopus, but I think it's the right move, because the octopus still says more about diving, and the guys needed to get a space design.

And even the space-themed model has diving features and elements. 200 meters water resistance, screw-down crown for better tightness.

Bezel rotates 120 degrees counterclockwise. In each version, regardless of color, the bezel is inlaid with DLC. Let me remind you that this material is as strong as diamond and is difficult to scratch.

The bezel is quite tight. I wouldn't say it's super comfortable, but it's quite nice. If you look closely, there's a little bit of play.

The finish is completely satin. Well done. But I can't say from memory that the quality has improved with the previous, larger model. But the quality for the money is definitely good.

While I don't see any changes in the quality of the case, Phoibos has really improved in terms of the bracelet. No fuss with the case attachment, excellent finish, and excellent geometry.

The bracelet is like silk, plus I want to say that while there used to be some sharp edges, now the bracelets are very smooth and nicely finished.

Plus on the screws, which is very good, plus a quick-change system has appeared, and the pleasant things are completed by an updated, fully molded "clapper" clasp with an excellent diver's extension.

That is, the bracelet is absolutely TOP. And this is exactly the element that is often saved on.

And also let's look at the quality of the black bracelet.

I want to say that I like all colors in principle. Of the specific ones, I can only name blue.

Because it's a really blue color, like a lagoon. It's a fairly rare shade that I don't even remember seeing on wristwatches.

And the specific color is yellow. Super bright, good readability. But it is clear that this is definitely not your first watch and far from every day. Well, that's why Phoibos makes different colors to meet the needs of different buyers.

So, let's go through the characteristics.

But on board they installed a more powerful Japanese automatic movement than before. It is a Citizen Miyota 9015 with a 42-hour power reserve, operating at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour.

The passport error is 20-40 seconds per day, but in practice it is always better.

And the sizes are really cool

Diameter - 39 mm, from lug to lug - 46 mm, thickness only 11 mm, which is great for diving characteristics, and weight on the full bracelet is 167 grams.

I have a small hand, 18 cm in circumference, and the watch fits perfectly on it. 42 mm were too big, and this one fits right in.

What do we have at prices?

Today, the stainless steel version is 21,930 UAH, and the version with DLC coating is 22,790 UAH.

This is an unequivocally successful release.

It was successful back in 2021, when all these models were dismantled quite quickly, and then they were quite popular for a long time.

But now it was logical to launch a reduced version.

It's cool that they not only made a lot of different colors, but also really worked on the bracelet. Well, you saw and heard for yourself. The bracelet - usually in inexpensive watches - is a weak point. And here it's a real strength.
