You've been writing a lot lately that I show too many dive watches. This is true. Firstly, I personally like this style the most, and secondly, this style itself is the most popular among watches.

But, as they say, we were persuaded. Let's watch the classics. Also from a brand that so many love and praise. Let's try to figure out if there are real reasons for this)

Let's start with the box. Small, neat. I like. Although from the materials and feel it feels like it’s very budget-friendly.  

The first thing I immediately want to note is the design. The Orient Bambino is made in a retro style and cannot be confused with other watches.  

It would seem that the case has a simple, round shape, but due to the convex dial, which is not even here, and the convex mineral glass, it seems that the case looks like a bulb.  

That is, this effect of a convex dial and glass creates a feature of a unique design.  

The body itself is made of 316l stainless steel. The bezel, upper part of the lugs and the case back of the watch are polished. And here are the sides with satin finish.  

The finishing quality is nice, but this watch is definitely not about finishing.  

Comfortable head.

The dimensions are stated: diameter - 40.5 mm, from lug to lug - 46.5 mm, thickness - 13 mm, weight - 57 grams.

On my hand it is 18 cm. The girth fits well, but the ears are straight and elongated, so they will look even better on a larger wrist.  

Strap made of genuine leather. In principle, the skin is pleasant. It feels like it's on a budget, but it's done well.

The clasp is also as simple as possible.

Through the caseback and mineral glass we can observe Orient's own movement with caliber F6724.  

It has a 40-hour power reserve, 22 jewels, and operates at a frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour.  

The mechanism is made in Japan.  

But the clock itself does not. If it’s no secret to you, almost all watches except the Orient Star are now made either in China or Thailand.  

I would be extremely interested to read in the comments the opinion of those who constantly write to me, it is better to buy Japanese Orient watches. So tell me. If a Japanese watch is made in China, is it a Japanese watch or a Chinese watch?

Let's look at the dial.

The design is definitely nice. The silver plate is curved towards the edges. Following it is a curved second hand at the end. I have seen something similar more than once on the Swiss Certina Big Date. Nice effect.  

Wedge-shaped hands and neat markers with clearly marked Roman 6 and 12 o'clock.  

Orient logo.  

I would also remove the date, and in general it would be ideal.  

In terms of characteristics, these watches are not particularly different. Mineral glass and water resistance 30 meters. If water protection is the norm for this style, then mineral water is, of course, pure savings.  

In Ukraine today there are 4 variants of this particular version of Orient Bambino available. One like ours, and 3 on mesh bracelets (Milanese weave)

The price of our copy today is 12140 UAH.

Of the definite pluses, I can give a plus to the design. A truly beautiful and recognizable watch.  

I also have no complaints about the materials at this price. Except mineral glass.  

I will not compare this watch to micro brands that are head and shoulders above in terms of craftsmanship and performance for the same price.  

If only because not everyone chooses a watch based on its finish and characteristics. Here Orient has adopted a style in which there are not many analogues in this budget. The only ones that come to my mind are Citizen or the Germans Zeppelin.  

Although Citizen will most likely also fall out, since they have mostly quartz in a similar style for this price.  

Of course, a keen eye will immediately see that this is a budget watch. I don't know how to explain this to you. It just feels. But, I repeat, the watch is not bad, and it will definitely find its connoisseurs.
