Friends, hello to everyone, you are on the channel about Feeltime watches, Stanislav is with you as always, and today we will watch a fresh update from the Phoibos microbrand from the Wave Master collection.  

In general, Foibos took this line very seriously this year.  

Let me remind you that the first Wave Masters were produced in 42 mm cases, but at the beginning of the year the brand announced the launch of reduced versions with a case diameter of 39.5 mm

If I'm not mistaken, 5 color versions were released, and after a few months they were added green and the clasp was changed from a die-cast with a latch to an all-cast clapper with a diver's extension.  

Therefore, some versions of the same colors differ in price.

The novelty used the currently trendy GMT (second time zone) function, which could be read thanks to a bidirectional bezel and a separate hour hand.  

And I got so high at the moment from the purple dial that I bought a watch for myself. In general, purple this year was a revelation. Trends were set on orange, and it was violet that shot.  

And now, less than half a year has passed, Foibos is back again with the updated Wave Master, but this time without GMT, with a bunch of new colors and some cool innovations, which I will now tell you in detail.  

The same started with the packaging. This is a cool and convenient Phoibos travel case. Really useful and well made stuff. I think that it is much more convenient than a regular box.  

All standard documentation is included. I am an exclusive dealer of the brand in Ukraine, so you buy only the original from me with a 2-year warranty.  

Foibos presented the latest update in 5 different dial colors. And the cool thing is that each version is available with or without a date.

Those who are in the topic understand what a good option this is, because there are people who love the date, and there are those who will always say: "Once again, they messed everything up with their date."  

And they did not go the easiest and shortest way. You could take one movement that has a date plate and just cover it, but no, the date versions use the premium Japanese Citizen Miyota 9015 movement and the non-date versions use the Miyota 9039.

The power reserve is 42 hours, the mechanisms operate at a frequency of 28,800 semi-oscillations per hour.  

And this is already the first very nice gift, because the price of the watch compared to the previous version has increased by only UAH 700, depending on the color, and the mechanism is still a level higher.  

If you look at what lies on the surface, visually, in addition to the colors of the dials, the bezel has changed.  

It's also ceramic, but it's a purely diver's bezel. Very nicely done. Great and comfortable grip. Fairly soft rotations, and a pleasant sound. But I did see a tiny bit of micro backlash. To be honest, it is very insignificant and I cannot say that it is a drawback.  

The body is exactly the same as in previous versions. Almost completely satin and there are streaks of mirror polish at the transitions of the surfaces. Great workmanship, no questions asked.  

The bracelet is also of excellent quality. Multi-link, flexible, sits nicely on the hand. Links on screws, which is definitely a plus.  

But we can see that Foibos has finally switched to its signature "clamshell" clasp. It looks really cool, it's comfortable, and there's also a pretty good diver extension.  

The very first versions of the Wave Master did not yet have a system for quick replacement of the bracelet, but it has already appeared since the second revision. And the novelty was no exception. It is definitely convenient.  

Plus here you can see the signature, deep engraving with the brand logo: "Octopus".  

The same boy can also be seen engraved on the crown.  

Well, let's look at the dimensions.  

Diameter - 39.5 mm, from lug to lug - 46 mm, thickness 11.6 mm, weight of the complete bracelet 175 grams.  

What can I say, 18 cm on my small hand. In terms of volume, they fit perfectly, because in principle I would not have bought them for myself otherwise.  

What are our characteristics?  

He voiced the mechanisms, other characteristics are in principle quite standard for Phoibos.

• This is sapphire glass with 3 layers of anti-glare
• These are 15 layers of Swiss Super Luminova, which really shines royally in the dark
• It is waterproof - 200 meters. The head is screwed, so you can go diving in the watch.  

The characteristics are really TOP for its price.  

And here we come to one of the main updates - dials.  

In the new version, Phoibos brought back the classic black color and 2 of their very popular colors, which were previously only available in 42mm versions.  

This is a white, orange dial. It looks really nice and delicate, and this is a unique abalone shell dial. You can say that there are no identical dials, because the texture will always be slightly different.  

That is why this dial is so loved and always almost the first to be disassembled.  

But bright colors such as yellow and orange were abandoned. Also, in my store there are only remnants of these colors and if you don't want to miss out, then you have to take it now, because there won't be any more.  

Of course, we couldn't do without purple. Because, as I said, it really became a very popular color in watches. Not only in Phoibos. Many brands have used it very productively.  

And there is a color that we have already seen, but I did not comment on - it is a starry sky from the Aventurine stone.  

It showed itself very well at the Italian brand Venezianico, and now we can enjoy it at Foibos.  

In general, such colors as purple and aventurine are very calming. And now this is not enough, because the psyche sometimes cracks due to the turbulence of events.  

What about the prices?  

In fact, it is very nice, but the price has increased with the predecessor by only 500-700 UAH, depending on the color.  

And the total is UAH 18,500 or UAH 18,675.  

At the same time, the watch has a more charged mechanism on board compared to the previous version.  

But this does not cancel this past version, because the GMT function made the watches different, and some people like it more. Also, the two versions are absolutely relevant, but the previous one is just slowly progressing, because the brand switched to this one.

If we talk about everything else, then this is a good watch for the money. Great looking, great colors, great build, great specs.  

For this price, Phoibos is simply at the top, and I always say that these guys are doing a great job and if you want a really grown-up watch for little money, then this is the place for you.
