Friends, hello everyone, you are on the Feeltime watch channel, with you as always Stanislav, and today we will have a review of the Swiss Rado watches from the True collection.  

In fact, today this is one of the most popular lines of the Rado brand, watches in which are made for both women and men. But as always, everything is unfair, because women's watches are only for women, and men's watches are positioned as unisex.  

So today we will be reviewing a men's, unisex watch.  

Last time, when I was shooting Rado and said that for me, watches from this collection are fashion, it just felt right to me.  

Maybe I'm wrong, but I won't back down from my words. For example, an Adidas t-shirt is sport. And a Gucci t-shirt feels like Fashion to me. That is, it's like a separate style. Something about fashion.

Speaking of Rado, the Rado "Captain Cook" is an absolutely classic, everyday diver. No fashion. But the Rado Centrix or True - these watches are somehow more about fashion.  

You just shouldn't compare Michael Kors and Hess with Rado. Because both look like Fashion, but the quality of the former is $10, and Rado is cool.  

So, let's look at the clock.

Let's start with the package. These are pretty small but nice boxes.  

We will have a Certificate for diamonds, because we have as many as 12 of them on the dial. By the way, when you see the same model on the website, but there is a big difference in price, then look at the tags, because the cost can vary greatly due to the diamonds.  

We also have a warranty card. Rado has extended the warranty to 5 years. From me you buy only original Rado watches with this official 5-year warranty in Ukraine.  

So the Rado "True" watch itself, if you've seen it before, has a very distinctive look. And that's really cool, because despite its simplicity, I recognize it from afar.  

Many people don't pay attention to this, but this is branding. When you see someone come in, and you, if you know about watches, immediately see from afar what kind of watch it is.

Because you can recognize BMWs from afar, right? Even though they are big. But if there is style, then you will recognize watches too.  

Our Rado "troue" is made of plasma ceramic. You will never confuse it with anything. It looks special. It is a very specific color, like molten metal.  

And it doesn't just look unusual, but it has some nice bonuses.  

First of all, it's very light and really comfortable on the hand. That is, it's not steel, and for example, now, in winter, it won't be so cold, but in summer it will fry your hand.  

Secondly, it is a very durable ceramic. The brand claims that it is even stronger than stainless steel. And here it is important not to confuse it with ordinary ceramics.  

Because I once wrote in the comments on Rado that the ceramics broke, I'll clarify, but it wasn't Rado that broke, but some cheap Festina for 5,000 UAH. So please don't confuse them. Ceramics come in different types. This one is premium.  

The shape of the case is absolutely classic. Round. Everything is very nice, simple, and minimalistic.  

And all this is emphasized by the handsome dial.  

A nice gradient from blue to black-blue. Cool, expensive shimmer. At 12 o'clock there is an open balance through which we can admire the work of Swiss mechanics.  

There's absolutely nothing superfluous here. A neat Rado logo, the inscription Swiss Made at 6 o'clock, rhodium-plated hands (i.e. protected from corrosion), and, as I said, diamonds on the markers.  

Great. Simple and tasteful.  

Very nice bracelet. Look how easy I can fold it. I mean, it's like silk. And another plus of plasma ceramic is that it doesn't scratch. The watch will look like new all the time.

But there is a downside. Ceramics get very sticky. There won't be any scratches, but you'll be constantly leaving your fingers on it. And you either have to wipe it off or just let it go and get used to it.  

The clasp, by the way, is a "butterfly". Convenient, cool, hides the mechanism, and makes the bracelet look more complete.  

Let's look at the hand. I have a small wrist of 18 cm. In volume. Honestly, I would take a smaller version for myself. And this watch has different size versions. Well, we have these dimensions. Diameter - 40 mm, from lug to lug - 48 mm, thickness, 10.4 mm, weight - 115 grams on a full bracelet

According to the characteristics, it is sapphire glass with anti-reflective coating. The anti-reflective coating works perfectly.  

We have 50 meters of water resistance, which is absolutely normal for this style. You can wash your hands and not be afraid of the rain.

And we have a mechanism on board with its own caliber R734. Power reserve 80 hours, 25 jewels, frequency 28800 vibrations per hour. This is not exactly the Powermatic 80 that Swatch Group puts in Certina, Hamilton and Tissot. Because they work at a frequency of 21600 vibrations per hour.

I think there's no point in discussing the price. It just is. The brand is very well-known, the brand is very reputable, so there's just that price. It either suits you or it doesn't.)  

There is basically no competition in this price range with this style. That is, I would say that the "Centrix" and "Tru" collections are really very unique and unlike anything else.  

Who are they for?  

If you look at Rado's references and photos, you can understand that the brand positions these watches as watches for top managers, businessmen, business ladies, and just ladies in beautiful dresses. And in fact, they will really look great with an expensive dress or an expensive suit.  

But in our reality, as I already said, these models are very popular with tattooed guys in classic aggressive cars like BMW Mercedes Audi. These are guys who are involved in crypto, currency exchange. That is, such golden youth with money.  

That's how it is. It's actually a cool watch, with its own face, with its own style, it's clear who it was made for. That's great.
