Friends, hello everyone, you are on the channel about Feeltime watches, where we develop watch culture in Ukraine together. With you, as always, Stanislav, and on the review today will be, one might say, the cult watch Longines Hydroconquest.
Before that, on my channel, you could see my review of the quartz version with a bracelet and a case diameter of 41 mm, then I posted a big review where I showed the Hydroconquest chronograph on the mechanics and showed options for this watch, since there are really a lot of them.
The design is the same everywhere, but the dimensions, colors, mechanisms, strap materials and, as a result, the price can be radically different.
Conventionally, the most inexpensive Conquest can be bought today for 38 thousand UAH - this is the version on quartz, and the most expensive about 130 thousand UAH are the versions of Hydroconquest on the mechanics.

And today I want to show you a mechanical version with a case diameter of 41 mm and on a rubber strap. And the strap here strongly decides what you will see with me throughout the review.

Equipment
You know, I want to tell you about the configuration just for the sake of one nuance.
Here is a standard, very nice Longines box.
International Guarantee Card, and here it is - it happened. Apparently, the Longines have finally stopped cutting down trees for the sake of their huge booklets and provided watches in contrast to such a, one might say, “beggarly” card.
And I'll tell you that it's not bad. Still, nature must be protected. Let them do it for hours.
Design
In terms of watch design, this is the unchanging and loved by many Hydroconquest.
They have absolutely their own, unique appearance, unique markings on the dial, the firm form of sagging at the crown.
This watch is unmistakable. And do not forget that when you buy expensive, branded watches, you will definitely pay for it. Pay to have your watch and its provenance 10 meters away.
The case is made of stainless steel with elements of gold plating on the side of the welt and on the crown.
Moreover, such elements will not irritate even those who do not like gold. It is woven without unnecessary brilliance and pathos. Rather, it adds to the cost.
Bezel 120 clicks counterclockwise. With ceramic insert. The grip is very comfortable. Rotation is confident, clicks are pleasant. There are of course small flaws in the form of slightly sharp corners and micro backlash, but, honestly, it doesn’t annoy me at all.
I'm waiting for your angry comments, how unhappy you are with the fact that the bezel in the watch for $ 2400 is a little loose.
The build quality is excellent. Longines should be given their due, they are always in order with this. Plus, the texture of the treatment is special and I always find out for myself that it is Longines.
The sizes are as follows.
Diameter - 41 mm, Ear to ear - 51 mm, Thickness - 11.9 mm, Weight - 127.8 grams.
On the arm 18 cm. They sit perfectly in the girth.
What have I not shown yet on the body?
A very important part is the back cover of the watch. I don't know about you, but I love it when a brand indulges in such expensive engravings on the case back. And Longines engraving is really expensive.
Black rubber watch strap . The tactile quality is excellent. It is shortened under your wrist only by the method of physical cutting along the drawn stripes.
And of course, the clasp of the version on the strap is just chic. Very high quality and powerful, fully cast, clapperboard clasp.
Those who own the bracelet versions will appreciate it. By the way, write in the comments if you own a watch with the squalor that you have to put up with in a watch on a bracelet. How do you like such a cosmic difference?

Let's move on to the dial.
We see an expensive, black, matte color. Applied, gilded hour markers and hands. The hands have a signature shape, typical only for Hydroconquest watches, as well as separate Arabic numerals at 6, 9, 12 o'clock.
These are the design elements, which, like, for example, the protective nodules at the crown, make it clear that this is a Longines Conquest or Hydroconquest watch.
And, of course, features .
This model is powered by its own L888 movement with a frequency of 25,200 vibrations per hour and a decent power reserve of 72 hours.
This is a professional diving tool with a water resistance of 300 meters.
The glass here is sapphire with external and internal anti-glare.
So this watch is not only coolly made, it is also well-charged inside.
Results
What about the prices?
Specifically, this model for today in my Feeltime store has a price of 89360 UAH, which is equivalent to $2400 at the exchange rate.
Who is this watch for?
I find the Longines Conquest and Hydroconquest to be a great option when faced with the choice of buying your first serious watch.
There are some pluses here.
People in the subject will always recognize this watch. If you come to a meeting, then everyone understands what you have on hand and how much it costs money.
That is, it is a brand that needs no introduction. And no one needs to explain what it is and what it is eaten with.
The pluses continue.
This is absolutely not overrated high quality, its own mechanism and quite serious characteristics.
Only the Rado Captain Cook comes to mind from this segment in terms of competitors, which have all the same goodies in terms of branding, quality and characteristics.
But Captain Cook is a bit more expensive.
