In general, I am quite sour about Japanese watches in the segment up to 20 thousand UAH. We are talking about Seiko, Orient. These are brands that manage to make stamped bracelets, poor clasps, mineral glasses for this money.
At the same time, still leaning on the fact that this is a type of brand. It seems that the guys have fallen out of the current time and do not notice point-blank that a lot of micro-brands have appeared, which literally grabbed the cheap segment of the Japanese and Swiss by the throat.
I don’t know about you, but personally I don’t have any prestige to wear really overpriced Orient or Seiko in the cheap segment. There is no status. If you need this, then you definitely need to often jump the mark of 30 thousand UAH in these brands. There is something really interesting going on.
About the Citizen watch itself
Well, on the review I still have Citizen. What's up with these watches?
I have said more than once that Citizen is a little more adequate for me today. Yes, there are some savings. But definitely not like Orient or Seiko.
In short, let's get it right.
Design
I want to say right away that I took them for review according to the principle “I like them outwardly”. That is, when I saw them live, I have a desire to twist them.
If I take them in my hand and feel that they are heavy - you see them in the video.
The watch itself is quite large and heavy. I like it. Immediately there is a feeling that at least not some kind of dummy. Yes, and by weight it is immediately obvious that the bracelet is cast.
Bracelet
Let's start with him.
Perfectly attached to the body without backlash. The combined finish gives a good volume. The finish itself is excellent. The geometry is also great.
I'm pleasantly surprised.
The clasp is also a delight. The outer part is stamping, but the inside is molded. Plus there is a diving extension.
If all the Japanese made such bracelets for this price, there would be no price for them.
Now the body .
First, I really like the shape. Secondly, again, excellent quality finishes.
Very comfortable 120 click bezel. Aluminum insert. If you don't get ceramics, please stomp past, because you've got me away with your "oh ... and ceramics on a Chinese watch for 100 bucks."
Buy your paganis for 50 bucks and calm down already. And those for whom a watch is not only a sapphire and a ceramic bezel, please follow me further.
The bezel, as I said, is confident, comfortable. Aluminum in terms of style perfectly emphasizes the blue-violet color of the dial.
Clock face
The dial itself is very large. The chronograph counters are heavily seated down, the hour markers are overhead. This gives a sense of multi-level and outwardly looks definitely expensive.
Functional
In terms of functionality, we have a stopwatch chronograph of 60 minutes and 60 seconds, a scale of 12 24 hours, which conveniently shows what time of day the time is running and the main second hand steps in the small lower dial.
All buttons are screwed for better tightness.
They are pressed with clear and understandable clicks, only pressing again without a click, which I personally lack.
And of course, excellent lume on the arrows and marks.

The non-obvious disadvantages include an aluminum bezel, which is very suitable for the design of the watch, and mineral glass.
Personally, my opinion is that the overall quality negates these disadvantages. Well, if you choose a watch according to the principle - ceramics-sapphire, then, as I said above, design is for you. This is exactly your everything and the limit of perfection. With them, and at a business meeting, you can even through fire and water. Everyone will be delighted.
For those who are a fan of Japanese quality - this watch is really a good option. I am warm to Citizen. Of course, there are not the most successful models, but I try to offer you something worthwhile.
