Multifunctional Invicta 6106 Reserve Excursion
Usually, all models of Invicta watches from the Excursion collection are very similar to each other, but watch number 6106 has significant differences in functionality, which I would like to share more in this brief review.
Let's talk a little about design. These are still classic invicta forms from the excursion collection. The watch is massive, heavy and made of stainless steel. The steel is glossy, it collects fingerprints and scuffs very well, so the watch will constantly have to be wiped, fortunately, there is something, since a soft cloth comes with the watch.
Separately, I would like to note the dial, made in dark blue tones at the junction of purple. Some lameness of readability, which arose due to a large number of functions, was corrected by the minute markings on the fixed bezel, thereby not loading the dial to the very worst.
Well, since we are talking about the dial, let's finally touch on the functionality.
The watch has an alarm clock, which is a huge rarity for Invicta watches. For this function, the right part of the upper left dial marked "on", "off" and a separate arrow labeled "Alarm" are separately highlighted. The alarm clock is quite easy to set up, the signal is clear, there is also a repeat every 2 minutes.
The left side of the same small dial shows the power reserve of the battery as a percentage from "0" to "100"%. It is also a very rare function for Invicta and quite useful, since the question of the battery’s expiration date and its possible current supply always remains relevant.
For travelers, the watch has a GMT function with the ability to set the time in several time zones at once. For ease of use, a 24-hour scale is separately applied along the edge of the dial and a second hour hand with a red tip is installed.
The watch also has the date and days of the week.
The crown of the watch is screwed down, which is provided for good tightness of the case in contact with water at the declared mark of 200 meters. You can go diving with this watch.
The hands and hour markers store energy and glow in the dark. Experience tells us that it is not very bright and not very long, but in total darkness you can always faintly see the time.
Well ... I would like to note that this is a really interesting model with a universal design and a number of useful functions and good characteristics at a fairly pleasant price for a Swiss product.
