About a year ago, I considered for you a different color of this model, and today I will show you a new version of the dial and strap. Plus, remember what a watch is.
Let's start with the fact that this model is a homage to the luxury Panerai Radiomir California.
This is expressed in the shape of the "cushion" case, the shape of the hands and the "California" hour markers, in which the upper half is in Roman numerals and the lower half in Arabic.
But, as I have said more than once, a homage is not a copy, so there may be changes from the brand that creates this homage. In this case, Spinnaker still changed the shape of the hull.
Its size is 42 mm, while Panerai "Radiomir" has 47 mm. Plus its own dial texture.
So yes - this watch is similar to the Panerai, but well made to Spinnaker's own taste.
The Spinnaker Hull model is made in the classic canons of the brand - this is a vintage style.
It is in this watch that the delicate, beige color of the genuine leather strap only enhances the vintage effect.
Strap quality
The strap on the outside feels like suede, and the inside is completely smooth. It is stated to be waterproof. This is a plus, as the water resistance of the model is 100 meters.
The crown is screwed down for better tightness of the case, so you can safely swim in the watch.
In general, the strap is made very soundly. Here I want to note that in the dark version it is smooth both inside and out. There is no feeling of suede as in a light watch.
Case quality
The body is made of 316l stainless steel. Almost completely polished. There is satin finish on the upper parts of the lugs and on the welt. The quality of the finish is excellent for this price. The polished parts reflect like a mirror.
I am very impressed that the glass is a clear continuation of the welt. Plus, it is slightly convex, which generally gives volume to the watch.
True mineral glass. I would like a sapphire. Antiglare is present and works perfectly.
Watch sizes
Case diameter is 42 mm, lug to lug is 47 mm, thickness is 15.7 mm (although the manufacturer claims 15 mm), strap width is 20 mm, weight is 93 grams.

The fit on my 18cm arm is excellent. The strap is really very thick and does not immediately differ in particular flexibility. It remains to believe that it spreads and takes the shape of your hand.
Another question is that the design of this watch beckons to try different straps. I would immediately change them into some interesting NATO belt.
Clock face
The watch face is awesome. Its surface texture resembles the surface of the moon.
The hour markers are tall and voluminous, while the applied Spinnaker logo and date on a black backing show the brand's attention to detail.
It turned out quite expensive.
Mechanism
In the course of the review, I named all the characteristics except for the mechanism. On board is the classic of microbrands - this is the Japanese Seiko nh35a with automatic winding and manual winding. 42 hours power reserve, there is a STOP second. Reliable and trouble-free mechanism.
Plus you can see the Spinnaker branded pendulum. It's nice.
And the Swiss Super Luminova on the hands and dial markers.
Results
Today the price of this watch in our store is 9400 UAH. For this price, you get a cool design, excellent case workmanship, an expensive and well-detailed dial, and nice specs.
