Just a few months ago, my subscriber sent me his watches of the brand for review and I really liked them, so today my Feeltime online store is already the official distributor of the Venezianico brand in Ukraine.
A short history of the Venezianiko brand
Let me remind you that the brand was founded in Italy in 2017 by two brothers. Stylistically, the company tries to bring elements of Venice into the design of its watches.
In general, the essence of each micro-brand is to make watches of great quality, with cool characteristics for a nice price. That is, to give you the opportunity to buy really high-quality watches, which will cost significantly less than analogues in quality from the same Swiss or Japanese.
And Venezianico do their job perfectly, plus it's not just some kind of homages, but quite independent watches with their own interesting features.
Equipment
The watch comes in a white box.
Outwardly, she looks nice. Inside you will find a folder containing a card for the owners of the Venezianiko Club and a Map of Venice with marked landmarks of the city.
A very nice bonus, though it is so large that I still can’t adequately show it to you on the video.
Each of the models that I will show you belongs to the Nereide collection. This is a submarine that was created for the royal, Italian navy.
All watches will be visually somewhat similar, but there is a difference in them.
And we will start with the most inexpensive Venezianico Nereide 3321501C
The Italian origin of the watch is indicated by the applied logo at the top of the dial and all the inscriptions in Italian, which is very unusual.
I would also like to emphasize the unusual shape of the bracelet.
This bracelet is created by Venezianico in 16 forms. And it's really great quality.
The main links are in the form of rods with patination, and the central links are with a mirror polish.
Butterfly clasp. Hides the fastening mechanism and creates a holistic view of the bracelet.
Stainless steel body. The sides are satin. The upper part of the lugs is mirror polished.
Note the intricate transitions of the lugs and the intricate curve of the link on the bracelet adjacent to the case.
Protective cap. It has a nice engraving of the brand symbol.
The case back of the watch is screwed and engraved with the same Nereide submarine
Ceramic bezel, scratch resistant. For 120 clicks. The grip is very comfortable. The move is pleasant. I liked the clicks. I don't feel any backlash.
The sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating rises slightly above the bezel.
The sizes are as follows. Diameter - 42 mm, From ear to ear - 50 mm, thickness - 14 mm, weight - 175 grams.
On my hand 18 cm. They sit perfectly in girth.
The dial is concise and looks very nice. This is the green color that many people love.
Labels are laid on and create excellent volume. The date is discreetly positioned at 3 o'clock.
Swiss Super Luminova on hands and indexes.
This model has a water resistance of 200 meters. The head is screwed down for better tightness.
And of all the models that I show, it has the most accessible movement. This is the Japanese Seiko NH35A, which today is already a classic for microbrands.
The next two models that I will show you are significantly more expensive due to the more expensive mechanism.
Venezianico Nereide Ceramico 4221502C watch
On board the watch is a Swiss Sellita SW200 with a power reserve of 38 hours. It is also a well proven mechanism.
And of course, the difference is in the colors of the dial and bezel, so let's take a closer look at these elements.
And the version with tungsten bezel Venezianico Nereide Tungsteno 4521501C
And the last model from our selection, although similar in design and bracelet, but still has differences.
This watch is Venezianico Nereide Ultraleggero 3921503C
Firstly, the watch is dedicated to the Vitruvian Man, symbolizing the renaissance and the close relationship between art and science.
An engraving with his image can be seen on the back of the watch.
Secondly, there are differences in the polishing of the case. This model has a subtle transition of a mirror polished stripe between the side and top surface.
In the watch that I showed before - there is no such transition.
And of course, the dial itself looks more unique. This is a skeleton, which is also made according to a patented system and has many levels.
The mechanism and the pattern itself are covered with glass, on which overhead labels and an overlay logo are already seated, as well as the collection and characteristics are painted.
And just such a dial reflects the style of Venice as much as possible. Although this is all of course an amateur. I prefer the classic ones.
Also on board this model is a rarer Japanese movement Seiko NH70A with a power reserve of 41 hours.
By the way, I was also expecting a black version of this watch, but crossing our customs, unfortunately, the watch was not in its place. That's it.
Let's sum up .
Watch prices start from 26675 UAH for the most affordable version with the Japanese Seiko NH35A caliber and green and blue dial.
Next comes the skeleton for UAH 31,595, followed by versions with Swiss movements, the prices of which start at 38,000 and end at 40,000.
As a result, I want to say that the watch is made very worthy. They have a completely recognizable design, and this is important, since a micro-brand does not just parody someone, but makes its own, plus patents some things.
Excellent quality finishes, excellent features.
I held in my hands both the Japanese and the Swiss in this price segment. The quality will be weaker there.
Plus, I want to emphasize that such watches are not always bought by those who are chasing quality and a more affordable price. Microbrands are often of interest to those who are fed up with popular brands and want something fresh, something new.
