New products from the microbrand Spinnaker

Friends, hello everyone. You are on the Feeltime watch channel, with you as always Stanislav, and today I have prepared for you the first review on the channel of 2025. And it will be a rather extensive review of new products from the Spinnaker brand.

It so happened that in 2024 my focus shifted a bit and I didn't really bring much of the Spinnaker brand, but by the end of the year a lot of watches arrived and I decided not to break it down into short reviews as before, but to show a lot of them right away.

In 2024, Spinnaker celebrated 10 years since the brand was launched. And while a few years ago it was considered a micro-brand, today many say it has grown to the level of a brand.

In fact, the dynamics of development are really quite fast. There are a lot of models, the guys are constantly expanding the range, adding cool additions to their watches, releasing cool limits in collaborations. At the same time, I don't see the price tags increasing.

So, a big review, if you weren't ready, I suggest you pause, make some tea or coffee, and enjoy it to the fullest.

SPINNAKER CROFT watch

And I suggest starting with the simplest. The first model in the review is Spinnaker Croft. This is an old model, I had it in different versions, but it was not in this color.

And by looking at the old models, we will be able to better compare them with the new ones.

We have a retro design. And basically when Spinnaker appeared on the market, their goal was to make high-quality, everyday diver's watches with a touch of retro from the 70s-80s of the last century.

The watch looks quite nice. And quite expensive, especially considering its low price.

Laconic stainless steel case. Excellent quality of finish. And I have emphasized this more than once. Because for such money the case finish is really TOP.

Head without protective overflows. Screwed for better tightness.

120-turn bezel. With an aluminum insert. This is definitely not an economy at Spinnaker. Aluminum emphasizes the vintage style better, which is why it is installed here.

The bezel is quite tight. There is no play, but it is also a bit difficult to rotate, especially if your fingers are sweaty.

And I want to emphasize that it will be difficult to scratch it, because the glass is sapphire and it is much higher than the bezel. That is, it will be physically difficult to do so.

The strap is of good quality. Genuine leather. The stamping indicates that it is moisture-resistant and that is good, since the watch is water-resistant to 150 meters. You can swim in it.

The size is great for a small wrist.

Diameter - 40 mm, from lug to lug - 47 mm, thickness - 13.4 mm, weight - 89 grams.

The size on my hand is 18 cm in circumference and they fit great, but I'm a little uncomfortable with the strap. There is a little pressure on the knuckles. But I'm sure that's because the strap is new and hasn't taken the shape of your hand. Genuine leather becomes softer over time and this should go away.

Of the characteristics, I didn't mention the mechanism. This is, as expected, a Japanese mechanical movement with a self-winding Seiko NH35A. A very popular mechanism in the middle segment of watches.

42 hours of power reserve, operates at a frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour, error of about 20-40 seconds per day according to the passport, but usually better.

It's an absolutely trouble-free and reliable mechanism, for which there are always parts, which can be repaired without any problems if something happens.

And of course the dial. Again. It looks gorgeous for its price.

Black, branded grainy plate. Overlay labels give a nice volume. Date on a black background so as not to distract attention, plus a drop-shaped cyclops nicely magnifies this date.

And the Swiss Super Luminova is quite bright.

A cool watch, especially for the little money you have. And today the price is only 12,600 UAH. The link to it is HERE.

SPINNAKER HULL watch

The second model in the review will also be a watch from the old guard Spinnaker. This is the Spinnaker Hull, which I have only seen on stainless steel bracelets before.

And you know, it looks completely different on a strap. Although I don't like genuine leather straps, it looks cool visually.

Plus, the quality of the strap itself feels better than the previous model I showed you.

The case itself is in the shape of a "pillow". Stainless steel 316l. All side surfaces are polished. The upper part of the case is satin-finished.

The quality of the finish is good. I am reflected in the polishing as if in a mirror. And the case itself is quite complex in shape.

The head already has protective protrusions and is screwed on.

The bezel has an aluminum insert that rotates 120 degrees. And here there is already a micro-play in some positions, but the grip of the bezel itself is much more comfortable than in the previous model. For me, for example, this is more important.

According to our characteristics:

Japanese mechanics Seiko NH35A. I already mentioned it, so I won't emphasize it further.
Water resistance is more serious. 300 meters. That is, this is a full-fledged, diving watch.

The dimensions are considerable:

Diameter - 42 mm, from lug to lug - 50 mm, thickness - 14 mm, weight - 110 grams.

But to be honest, I really like the way they sit on my small hand. Probably even more than the previous watch.

The dial has such a nice, circular finish. Military green color. Quite calm.

Again, the patch tags and logo give great volume.

Attention was also paid to the nuances of the type of date on a black background and the minute markings in the form of a railway track.

Plus, the Swiss Super Luminova glows beautifully in the dark.

SPINNAKER BRADNER watch

Next, we will look at the Spinnaker Bradner watch in the Super Compressor style.

Once upon a time, this technology was used to make diver's watches more water-resistant, but over time, the technology became rare, while the style became popular.

And its characteristic feature is the inner bezel, which is regulated by a separate valve on the side of the case. That is, thanks to this, you will never confuse the Super Compressor watch.

We have a completely black color. Conventionally, such watches are called "Stealth".

Quite a chunky body with excellent quality workmanship. Completely satin finish except for the valves themselves. Just the way I like it.

The strap is made of natural, moisture-proof leather. The quality is good. In principle, it is the same as the one I showed on the first model, but this one is completely smooth. The one on top was rough like suede.

According to our characteristics:

180 meters water resistant. Only the crown is screwed in. The valve that is responsible for the inner bezel is not screwed in.
But we have a Seiko NH35A on board again. Which, by the way, you can see through the back cover of the watch. The workmanship of this mechanism is actually so-so, but the pendulum was made custom. That's good.

The dimensions are quite large.

Diameter - 42 mm, from lug to lug - 50 mm, thickness - 15 mm, weight - 96 grams.

This watch is 18 cm on my hand. It fits well in size, but I would take it on a larger hand. That way it will open better.

All black is stylish.

But this makes it less readable. You have to get used to it.

In general, the dials of Bradner models look very bulky.

On the main plate we see the applied markers, the applied logo, the date on a black background and all this is framed by a metal, gray plate with minute markings.

And then there's the super voluminous bezel, which definitely adds color to the dial and the watch.

So, a great choice for a massive, male wrist. Today, the cost is 13,970 UAH, which is quite inexpensive. And there are also different color versions of the strap, plus the next watch will be a newer and top-end version of this model. Link to this HERE .

Updated version of the SPINNAKER Bradner watch

The next two models will be the updated Spinnaker Bradner with the GMT function, which became a trend in 2024, but it seems to me that this trend is gradually fading.

And I want to start with the box, because new Spinnaker models usually come with additional straps and they are packaged in quite presentable and beautiful boxes.

You can see that the basis of the design remained the same. That is, the same case shape, the same Super Compressor signature style, but new colors were added, the GMT function was added, and the package was expanded, as I showed.

It goes without saying that the bezel is now not a diver's bezel, but with a 24-hour marking, which you can use thanks to the second, hour hand with a triangular orange tip.

In order to add this function, the caliber of the movement was also changed. Now it is Seiko NH34. Essentially the same 35th caliber, but with a GMT function.

The dimensions are the same.

Diameter - 42 mm, from lug to lug - 50 mm, thickness - 15 mm, weight on the full bracelet is 190 grams.

And if the Stealths on my hand seemed big, then this watch fits better. And we can conclude that color also changes the perception of the watch.

I'll leave out the quality of the 316l stainless steel case, as it hasn't changed at all, but I'll pay some attention to the bracelet and strap.

Bracelet in the style of "rice grains". The quality is not bad, but not without flaws.

There is a slight play in the fastening to the case. The geometry is excellent, the fact that the links are on the screws is great, but the inside of the bracelet is a little sharp, which suggests that the finishing in the details could have been better.

I wasn't lazy and, out of curiosity, I took the more expensive microbrand NTH from the USA, which unfortunately went off the market in 2024, and compared the quality of visually similar bracelets.

But in NTH it is super smooth, and there is no play in the mount with the body. That is, these are the nuances for which you overpay when buying more expensive microbrands.

But Spinnaker has a quick-change system, which is cool, and a pretty good clasp with a simple, but it is - a diving extension.

And the quality of the additional rubber strap is also pleasing. It's a so-called tropical strap with lots of holes to let your hand breathe in the summer. With a quick-change system, so you can quickly change your clothes yourself.

In terms of characteristics, only the caliber of the mechanism has changed, and this model has a cool luminosity, because the stealth version that I showed has it, but it's so crappy that I didn't even bother to focus on it.

And I really like the color play on the dial.

The bezel here is divided into two parts. One green, one black.

I like the orange accents on the minute track, I like the superimposed logo and the red, lacquered GMT inscription.

Everything is done cheerfully and pleasantly.

New SPINNAKER Spence

The next model from our extensive review is the flagship of the Spinnaker Spence brand.

And let's start packing right away.

The large protective box comes with a carrying case. It's actually a useful thing because it's convenient to transport the watch in.

Inside is the watch itself, an additional rubber strap with a quick-change system, a tool for removing the bracelet links, and they added additional links, which I had previously only seen from the NTH brand, but Spinnaker also adopted this story.

The packaging is cool.

The model itself is a logical continuation of the first Spence versions, but new colors have been added, and while leather straps were previously a bonus, now they are rubber. And I think it's definitely better.

Plus, a quick-change system appeared, making it easier to change straps and bracelets.

This is a casual diver with a retro style.

I'll show you in detail this particular color, because the blue and green dials have arrived, which I'll also show you, but Gunmetal - that's what this color is called - is something new.

I don't even know how to describe this color. I want to say gray, but it's more like "metallic."

A very cool feature of this watch is its size. Because with a professional diving water resistance of 300 meters, it is only 40 mm in diameter and 10.9 mm thick.

To help you understand, with this type of waterproofing, the thickness is usually from 13 mm.

Therefore, the watch looks very neat.

From lug to lug - 47 mm, and the weight on the full bracelet - 144 grams. It is not heavy yet, but on the strap it will become completely light.

On my hand it is 18 cm. It fits perfectly!

I want to say that the finish of the case is at a very high level. It is better than anything I have shown so far in the review. The satin finish is cool. There is a strip of mirror polish between the surfaces, which gives more volume!

Very comfortable and massive head.

Bezel with an aluminum insert, which, as I said, emphasizes the vintage style.

The bezel is comfortable, but the downside is that the metal sides are a bit sharp. The finish here could be a little better.

But the bracelet is excellent in both geometry and finish. There is no play in the fastening to the case, there are no unpleasant sensations on the inner edges.

Plus, the clasp is fully molded. The bracelet is definitely gorgeous.

The tropical strap is of the same quality as the Bradner models. And they are all basically similar today, so if they appear in the review in the future, I will not focus on this anymore. I will just show that they exist.

But this model has a more powerful Japanese movement from Citizen with the Miyota 9039 caliber.

It has a power reserve of 42 hours, a maximum frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour, and in principle the same error of 20-40 seconds per day.

But the level is definitely higher than the Seiko NH35A

And I want to say that the dial looks very minimalist and vintage.

Firstly, there is no date, which is definitely a plus for me.

New limits SPINNAKER SPANGE BOB

Well, let's move from serious to fun for a bit.

In 2024, Spinnaker began actively collaborating with the owners of the SpongeBob cartoon and releasing very unusual limits featuring these characters.

And these are the first of them in my store, because it has happened more than once that I stupidly didn't have time to order them.

I received 2 models from the same series in stock. There were 3 in total, but one, as I said before, I didn't have time to order(

Let's start with the simpler one, it seems to me.

First of all, I want to say that the packaging is very nice. Bright boxes. With the symbols of "SpongeBob".

Inside are detailed instructions, a warranty card, and a certificate with the model serial number.

This one is a limited edition of 300 pieces worldwide. This information is also on the back cover. Plus, you can see a custom pendulum with all the cartoon characters.

A very bright model, made based on the Cahill collection.

The case is quite large. Made of 316l stainless steel. The finish is excellent. I like it. Almost completely satin-finished. There are accents of mirror polishing, which gives more volume.

The only thing I don't like is the bezel. It looks cool, but it's very tight, it's very inconvenient to turn, it keeps slipping. So, only the appearance is good.

The strap is beautifully made of silicone. Very soft and elastic. Bright and definitely attracts attention.

Lots of holes to let your hand breathe.

And the sizes are as follows.

But I want to say that despite its large size, the watch fits quite well on my small hand.

The characteristics are as follows:

And on board again Seiko NH35A

And of course, the main feature of this watch is its dial.

First, it's an art dial. That is, they made interesting elements like pebbles instead of hour markers, and drew a target inside the dial.

All the names and the number in the date window were made cartoonish in the style of "SpongeBob"

And the hands are matte, which is very unusual.

And this watch has a fully luminescent dial, which looks impressive, at least in the dark.

But the second limit got me even more high. The very idea

First of all, it also comes in a gift box. Only 350 copies were produced. I only have one left.

The number is on both the certificate and the back cover of the watch.

And here the idea of a clock face with hours for work and hours for rest immediately catches the eye. It is really very symbolic, since in the green zone we usually have to rest, and in the red zone (i.e. excitement), we have to work.

The dial itself is in the "sandwich" style. Matte hands, cartoon markings, plus the green half is completely fluorescent. In short, it looks very cool and conceptual.

The case itself differs from its predecessor only in the shape of the crown and the fixed minute marking.

The strap is the same, but a different color.

The characteristics are also the same, but the caliber in this model is Seiko NH34.

Well, let's of course measure this beauty on my small wrist, 18 cm in circumference.

They fit pretty well. But it will be even better on a large hand.

Very unusual watches. Conceptual. Definitely not the first in your collection. The first one currently costs 17,305 UAH, and the second one is more expensive - 19,599 UAH

The first titanium SPINNAKER TESEI

Finally, the top-of-the-line Spinnaker Tesei models have arrived at my store.

Moreover, the new product that I will show you has a titanium case and bracelet. As far as I know, Spinnaker has never released a titanium watch before.

The model comes in a huge box. Inside is a diving case. All the documentation, and the watch itself. It looks very presentable.

Tesei is the name of an Italian naval officer who invented a seemingly terrifying device called a “human torpedo.” Almost an invention for kamikazes, but during an attack with such a torpedo, a person still remained alive.

In the booklet that you will find with the watch there is a little history about Theseus Theseus and this torpedo.

What I want to say is that the watch looks quite nice. I like that the titanium is not obvious. Because the titanium is really matte. And here there is a matte finish, but you can immediately think that it is stainless steel.

The fact that the material is titanium gives the model its light weight.

I definitely like the quality of the finish. The finish is great. It's completely satin, which is diluted only by a strip of mirror polish between the surfaces.

Head with protective inflows. Very comfortable.

The bezel is very comfortable and rotates confidently.

The bracelet is also of excellent quality, but I was a little surprised that there is no quick-change system, although cheaper models now have it.

Plus, again, it's a fairly simple clasp with a simple diver's extension, but you can understand it here. Because this type of clasp is lighter, and when you make a titanium watch, it has to be very light.

The dimensions are quite large:

I would definitely recommend this watch for a larger hand.

I like the dial.

SPINNAKER FLUESS Klisika

And of course, we couldn't do without the classic Spinnaker Fluess, which have long been a hit of the brand.

In fact, this is a homage to the luxury Blancpain Fifty Fathoms. Previously, there were more subdued colors, and in 2024 Spinnaker updated the line with brighter colors.

In principle, only the colors of the dials have changed.

316l stainless steel case. The finish is excellent. It is satin finish.

The head has no protective coatings. It screws on. Quite convenient.

The bezel looks cool, but it's not comfortable. It's very slippery between the grooves.

The back cover is transparent. Through it we can see the Japanese Seiko NH35A.

Genuine leather strap. Waterproof, quality is quite nice.

Dimensions:

Diameter - 43 mm, from lug to lug - 51 mm, thickness - 13 mm, weight - 100 grams.

Quite a large watch. It fits my hand well, but I would recommend it for a larger hand.

According to the specifications, we have 150 meters of water resistance and sapphire glass with anti-reflective coating.

Let's look at the dial.

This is a rather bright blue, grainy plate.

It's actually a very delicate color.

Overlaid markers with clearly pronounced 6, 9 and 12 o'clock, the date made the same color as the dial - what attention to detail.

I like that the second hand has a rough tip. And the Swiss Super Luminova is quite bright.

It's very nice to be able to do everything.

New versions of Spinnaker Fleuss on bracelets

Again, the Fleuss collection was greatly expanded in 2024. They added a bunch of really cool, bright colors, and expanded the configuration.

As I've already shown on Bradner watches, we have a pretty bright dial here. There's a cool rubber strap with a quick-change system.

The watch itself hasn't changed at all in terms of design. And why change something that works great?

But there are some nice nuances.

For example, the bezel here already has a 24-hour marking for the GMT function and it seems a little softer and rotates more comfortably.

The bracelet is of the "rice grain" type, as I showed on the brander watches, but the attachment to the case is no longer noticeably loose, and the bracelet itself, it seems to me, is better made. Although there is still some sharpness.

There is also a quick-change system, and a classic double-lock clasp with a simple diver's extension.

The dimensions haven't changed since the first version of the Fleuss. It's 43mm in diameter and you know, I like the way it sits on my hand better because of the bracelet.

If the belt seems larger, the bracelet somehow softens this effect.

In terms of characteristics, only the caliber of the movement has changed. The expected Seiko NH34 with GMT function.

Well, the dial is really just a blast.

A very cool, rich color that looks great paired with a two-tone bezel.

Secondary inscriptions are not distracting at all.

Both the overlay labels and the date are beautifully woven into the black backing.

Everything is somehow very well thought out and harmonious.

Exchange edition Spinnaker Flees 40 mm

But I was really waiting for this release of the reduced Fleuss.

Because if 43 mm is too big for me, then this one is 40 mm, and it's my perfect size.

A total of 2 colors were released. This is a limit. Each of which exists in the amount of 150 copies in the world.

The watch comes in a gift box with an additional tropical rubber strap.

Well, it looks really cool. My emotions are already at play here, because I personally really like it.

Not only has the size changed, but the design has also been slightly tweaked.

For example, the bezel looks the same, but the side edges have a different texture, making the bezel much more comfortable to use.

The side parts were made more geometrically complex. Here I immediately think of a comparison with Sertina and Rado, because it is in these brands that I am used to seeing similar bulges.

Overall, the case finish is excellent. I'm very pleased. Especially since I'm expecting a similar model in April of this year for myself.

The bracelet is again "rice grains" and has all the same sores. The play with the case is almost imperceptible, but the edges of the bracelet are quite sharp. That is, the finish could have been better.

The clasp is also more fragile, but the shape is the same, plus there is a diver's extension.

There are improvements in the characteristics.

But the movement is more expensive. It's the Japanese Citizen Miyota 9039, which we already mentioned today.

The dimensions are as follows:

Really fragile watch. I really like how it sits on my hand. I'm really enjoying it, it's really cool.

Well, the dial is a real beauty.

Very nice color. I don't know if it's right to call it Tiffany.

The hour markers are beautifully engraved. The range of colors is simply gorgeous. I want to look and look.

There is no date, which is a plus for me, and the wonderful Swiss Super Luminova.

Hit by Spinnaker Dumas

Well, how could the brand ignore one of its most brutal and large diving watches, the Spinnaker Dumas, dedicated to the diver and oceanographer Frederic Dumas, who was once a significant part of Jacques-Yves Cousteau's team.

It won't surprise you anymore, because it's gradually becoming the norm for the brand, and the equipment is expanded and comes in beautiful packaging.

The watch itself, and the wonderful rubber strap with a quick-change system. By the way, it's cool, because the previous generation, even with additional straps, still didn't have a quick-change system.

The watch itself is the classic brute you'd expect from Spinnaker Dumas. But the colors are pretty fun. I'll show you all.

The year 2024 was a real breakthrough for purple, so it couldn't have happened without it.

Plus, they once again used the GMT function and the expected Seiko NH34 caliber.

316l stainless steel case. Excellent quality of workmanship. Polishing between transitions to make the watch visually more voluminous.

A comfortable head hidden under protective covers. By the way, I always forget to mention it, but there is a fluorescent light on the head that glows in the dark.

The bezel is also soft, with a 24-hour scale. It rotates in both directions.

The quality of the bracelet is really cool. It itself is quite complex, well-finished, and the edges are quite soft. The clasp is classic for a brand with a diving extension.

This is a fairly large washer with a diameter of 43 mm, from eye to eye - 47 mm, thickness - 15 mm, weight - 200 grams.

But even on my thin hand they sit quite nicely. The ears are short here and I'd say size is a matter of taste.

And it is really very spacious.

Several levels - the first is a base plate with applied hour markers, an applied brand, and a nice date on a black backing at 6 o'clock.

Further up, a black minute die is loose.

The hands, as befits a diver's watch, are such that the hour hand is smaller, and the minute hand is large and brutal.

Plus a gorgeous glow.

The TOP from SPINNAKER Tesei with BRONZE

And finally, I left you with the most delicious thing: the most expensive Spinnaker Tesei watch made of bronze.

And you know, if the titanium Tesei didn't evoke any super emotions in me (maybe because I don't like titanium in principle), this bronze beauty really looks super solid.

It will be packed in a huge box that will contain a brown diving box.

And you know, without even digging into the specifications, without digging into the details, I can immediately see that it's an expensive watch.

It just looks very detailed, voluminous, bright, and expensive.

And if you dig deeper, this is simply confirmed.

Let's start with the case. It's bronze. Over time, it oxidizes, acquires a patina (a green coating), and gives the watch a more unique look, which is why some people love this material. But for reference, bronze can be cleaned of this coating without any problems with fairly simple solutions.

Bronze itself is a more expensive and rare material than stainless steel.

And I will tell you that the quality of the winding of this watch is absolutely TOP.

And the detailing is really pleasing. This is a beautiful head under protective influxes. This is a helium valve on the side of the case to stabilize the pressure inside. And this is a professional diver with water resistance of 300 meters.

And the back cover is really beautifully made. The finish, the shape, and the tooth patterns are great.

Plus, the details of the Swiss mechanical Sellita SW200 were custom made to look like bronze. 26 jewels, 40-hour power reserve, operates at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour.

This is already a fairly popular and serious mid-range movement that many Swiss use in their watches and is twice as expensive as this one.

Very comfortable and confident bezel. There is a ceramic insert here, but it is somehow made innocently. That is, it is smooth as matte.

There's not much to say here. The dial is simply beautiful.

There are a lot of watches. I'm glad that Spinnaker is actively developing and has something to convey to its customers.

I see that the brand is working on packaging, equipment, and overall quality.

That is, the guys understand that there are a lot of hours, and they need to do it in a cool way. And they succeed in doing so.

What I really liked personally. I really liked the scaled down Spinnaker Fluess, I really liked the idea of the Work Not Work “SpongeBob” limit. And I really enjoyed the bronze models of Tesei.
