If you follow the channel, then you know that I have a warm attitude towards the Luminox brand. Moreover, on my hand now is just Luminox, which I bought this summer, and which still make me happy.
And despite all my love for the brand, I did not understand the models that I will show you today.
To be honest, I wanted to take other Luminox watches for review, but I was persuaded to take these models with the pretext: “Come on, show me the new ones better.”
And I wanted to take a really interesting and inexpensive watch in the best traditions of the brand. Here is a frankly strange clock.
On the other hand, it is even better, let's see where Luminox is moving.

What will I show?
On the review, we will have 2 models from the Pacific Diver diving collection.
Each of them also has several color options. I held each of them in my hands and will definitely show you during the article.
Package
Let's start with the packaging. She's a new type. And it was with her that the first unpleasant sensations began.
The packaging itself is nice. But. It's like it wasn't made for this watch.
The packaging closes with a huge stretch. And to be honest, I'm worried that the strap may burst over time.
Another thing is a thoughtful box of the old type, like my watch. Very comfortable. And it is really safe to store watches in it.
According to my feelings, for such a strap there should be a box with a round pouffe so as not to deform the strap. It's not thought out at all here.

Now let's go over the design of the first model.
Frankly, I don't like him. I'm used to the fact that Luminox watches are brutal accessories in carbon cases. Lightweight, durable, comfortable. It is carbon for me that is the watch feature.
Here, the watch is made of stainless steel, and looks more like a smart watch to me. And I don’t know about you, but personally, such a design is very repulsive to me.
Quality
If we discard the design, then the quality of the case is quite pleasant. We can see the black IP coating, the finish is also quite nice.
The head is very neatly recessed into the protective nodules and has an engraving of the brand.
The rotation of the bezel seemed strange to me as for stainless steel, but then I read that it was still made of Carbonax.
I've only seen this type of bezel rotation in Luminox watches.
Clock face
The dial is made in Full Black style.
The effect is next. At many viewing angles, it seems that there are only tritium hands and marks.
In fact, there are also hour markers, they are just all black and dissolve in the overall color of the dial. Like the date at 3 o'clock.
On the one hand, it creates a cool effect, on the other hand, it is this effect that makes me think that it is like a smart watch, which I have a negative attitude towards.
No questions about readability. The tritium tubes are clearly marked, and here I want to remind those who are not aware that Luminox watches use tritium tubes, thanks to which the brand once became popular.
This is a gas in special tubes that shines in the dark for up to 25 years and does not require energy storage. As the owner of a Luminox watch, I can say that it is really extremely convenient.
The dial is covered with sapphire glass. Antiglare is not declared and I do not see it.
Dimensions
The dimensions are as follows:

On my wrist 18 cm. They sit perfectly in girth.
As you can see, there are only options with bright rubber straps.
I don't like these belts. And the first thing I don't like is the brand's inscription in huge letters.
The same can be found not only in Luminox. The chip is not new. The same new Brightling Endurances do exactly the same.
I don't like it when a brand sticks out its name too much. This is the same as the brand written on your jacket in huge letters. I see it as a collective farm. Personally, I like it when delusions are neatly marked.
A similar strap fits your wrist only by cutting along these lines. It confuses me a little.
And I understand that the brand wants to make putting on and taking off the watch more comfortable with such a clasp, but then I would like to see another clasp, since here we see just an antediluvian stamping, which, in principle, is already a shame to put on a watch in our time.
OK. You can bet. But not for watches for 25 - 30 thousand UAH.
On the official website, I did not find information on the mechanism. I am sure that this is not expensive quartz from Ronda. It is likely that Ronda 515. 95% sure.
Well, the water resistance of this watch is 200 meters. The head is screwed for better tightness of the case.

The second model from the same Pacific Diver collection.
In fact, in form it is absolutely the same watch, only with a chronograph. But here, just due to the chronograph, I have fewer complaints about the design.
I can no longer say that this is a smart watch. These models are similar to the classic Luminox.
Quality
The build quality is again good.
But I can't get rid of the idea that Luminox is still about carbon watches. And I just don't understand why to move away from their own chips.
The bezel, as in the previous model, is made of the branded Carbonax material.
In order not to waste time on some things, I will immediately note that the size, bezel and strap are absolutely identical, so we will miss these moments.
By the arrangement of functions on the dial, I can absolutely say that this is a Ronda Z60 quartz movement, although the caliber is again not indicated on the official website.
The dial is quite well made, the markings are clear and understandable. Readability on a solid 4.
Personally, I did not have enough volume. If it were a watch for 10 thousand UAH, then no questions, we have a watch for 30k.
Again, they fit well on my hand. As I said, the dimensions and shape of the case are identical to the previous model.
Results
Well, friends, I'm ready to sum up.
The price of watches without a chronograph for today with us and our partners Deca is 25740 UAH, and for the version with a chronograph - 27900 UAH, and the version with a chronograph completely in black is even more expensive - 30070 UAH.
I have a lot of questions about this watch.
I absolutely dislike the design. I want to see a signature Luminox carbon watch, instead I see some kind of smart watch in the version without a chronograph.
Okay, the chronograph version is already more like the brand's signature style, but why stainless steel, why this strap with huge brand inscriptions, why this antediluvian clasp?
And if this watch cost twice as much, I could recommend it to you, but they cost as much as they cost. And for this price, and even in a more affordable budget, I would recommend Luminox branded carbon watches. Because they are the whole point of the brand.
