Friends, hello everyone. You are on the Feeltime channel, Stanislav is with you as always, and today there will be that rare occasion when I will show you a watch that I would gladly expand my small collection of watches with. These are Swiss with American origin Hamilton from the American Classic collection.
I’ll immediately make a footnote that there are many watches that I can rate as very high quality and worthy, but what I personally would like to buy myself, I come across quite rarely. And this is exactly that option.
Price
Let's start with the price tag. Today, the price of the model is 99330 UAH, which is equivalent to $2400.
For the Hamilton brand, this price is quite high, since many models rather fluctuate in the price segment of $ 1000-1500.
However, in my opinion, the watch is absolutely worth every penny spent on it.
What options came
To begin with, several color options and “strap-bracelet” options have arrived in Ukraine at the moment. The version on the mesh bracelet immediately went out of stock.

Hamilton watches in the movies
From the first pleasant moments, I want to note that this watch has already managed to light up in the cinema. Actually, like many Hamilton watches.
You could see this model on the hand of the protagonist Matt Damon in the movie "Ford vs Ferrari".
The film is gorgeous. I watched it in the cinema even before the war, reviewed it at home, and there is a reason to watch it again. I also recommend you.
And this model really perfectly conveys the spirit of the 60s of the last century.
panda dial
The Panda dial only emphasizes this style. And to be honest, for me it's love at first sight. In general, I realized that I like Panda-type dials incredibly.
Perhaps I would like to start with the dial.
The main plate is made in a delicate, beige color. The window of the main second hand and the 30-minute counter of the chronograph is opposite black, which creates an excellent contrast.
In addition, small windows are slightly recessed deep into the dial, and the tachometer scale along the edge of the dial goes beveled, which also creates the correct volume.
Here I want to note that the black, pronounced second hand of the chronograph has a curved tip to match the curved edge of the dial. These are the little things that are usually found only on expensive watches.
The hour markers are applied and, like the hands, are perfectly polished. Plus, there are duplicate bars with the Swiss Super Luminova, which is very nice!

Dimensions
Case of the most pleasant size. 40 mm diameter, ear to ear - 48.5 mm, Thickness - 14 mm, Weight - 92 grams.
See how beautiful and correct the forms are. A perfectly round case with sharp, chopped lugs and buttons that remind me of push pocket watches, which well emphasizes the vintageness of this model.
And on the side of the case you can see just such a button that switches the date.
The nice thing is that the brand immediately provided how you will switch it, and in the package you will find a bag with a plastic tool for this purpose.
Of course, someone can say that this watch is thick enough, and they will be right, but I want to say that this thickness is practically not felt on the hand. I can't really call it a disadvantage.

Strap quality
The strap is made of genuine leather. It is beautifully stitched with black thread and this is not the strap that is installed on more affordable models. The quality here is felt, and it is above average models.
Mechanism
The watch has its own H31 movement, which is based on the Valjoux 7753.
There are 27 jewels in total, it operates at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour and has a power reserve of 60 hours.
Other characteristics
Well, as expected, here the water resistance is 100 meters, while the head is screwed for better tightness of the case.
Plus, a slightly domed sapphire crystal, which perfectly emphasizes the shape of the case.
Results
Friends, in the end I want to say that this is an incredible watch.
They evoke a lot of positive emotions, they are beautifully made, they are the ideal size for the average wrist, and the indescribable spirit of motorsport of the last century.
Yes, they are significantly more expensive than many Hamilton models, but I want to buy them, and I don’t have the feeling that the brand is somehow going too far with the price.
