Friends, I welcome you all. You are on the channel about Feeltime watches. With you as always, Stanislav. And today we will consider the watch of my friend. This is an Orient from the Orient Star premium collection.
If you follow my channel, you know that I don't like Orient watches. But I perceive Orient Star as a separate brand.
Now a short story. My friend has a dream. A watch that costs $38,000. Now he is not ready to buy them. Over the course of a year, I offered him a huge number of available alternatives, which he successfully rejected.
And one fine day, on my instagram channel, I asked subscribers to show what they have on their hands today.
And then my friend's wife liked the watch that is on the review today. She showed it to him and he liked it too. I looked, gave my go-ahead, because I love and respect Orient Star, and, voila, I have a watch on my review.

Equipment
Let's start with the packaging. This is an oblong box of very decent quality. It is made many times better than standard Orient boxes. The packaging itself separates the classic Orient watch and the Orient Star watch.
Design
The model itself has a vintage style and in my opinion looks very cool.
Laconic case, very beautiful dial color, stylish markings and open balance.
It would seem nothing supernatural, but it looks expensive and solid.
The case is completely mirror polished of excellent quality. The shape of the hull on the sides is quite complex. There are smooth, barely noticeable transitions, which are the nuances that distinguish expensive watches from budget ones.
The crown is quite comfortable and has an engraving of the Star collection.
The anti-reflective sapphire crystal is the perfect extension of the case, creating a domed shape.
The back of the watch is polished, and through the transparent glass you can admire the own movement F6F44, which runs on 24 jewels, has a power reserve of 50 hours and a frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour.

The movement is beautifully crafted, with a gold-plated Orient Star inscription on the rotor. There really is something to admire here.
Speaking about the power reserve of 50 hours, I want to note that the corresponding scale is displayed in the upper part of the dial. And it's extremely convenient. You always know when it's time to wind up the clock.
The dial itself here is at least 60% of the charm of the entire model.
Expensive, beige color. Applied, elegant hour markers with pronounced Roman markers at 6 and 12 o'clock.
The minute and hour hands are beautifully polished, and the main second hand is neatly placed in a small, lower dial.
And of course, the cherry on top of the cake is an open balance through which you can admire the workings of the mechanism.
The dial is thought out to the smallest detail. I really enjoyed it.
Let's go through the sizes .
Diameter - 40 mm, ear to ear - 46.5 mm, thickness - 13 mm, weight - 70 grams.
On my hand 18 cm. In girth they look great.
The strap is made of genuine leather. There is brand embossing on the inside and the surface is smooth, which is good in case you have to accidentally wet it.
The strap, although of good quality, but if it were my watch, I would have made some interesting custom from the master. It seems to me that this watch can be upgraded to a more expensive look. What do you think, friends? Write your opinion in the comments.
The watch has a very comfortable, fully molded clasp that adjusts to fit your wrist along the length of the strap. There is nothing for me to complain about here.
Of the characteristics, I did not name only water protection of 50 meters, which is a classic for this style. You can wash your hands and not be afraid of the rain.
What do I want to say in conclusion ?
Magic hours. Like most Orient Star models, which stand apart from ordinary Orient watches.
Firstly, they are made in Japan, unlike the budget Orient ones, secondly, they have a very cool design, which exudes high cost and a certain status, and thirdly, they are excellent quality and excellent characteristics for this price.
The clock is flawless. And, the only thing I would change, or rather experiment, is with the type of strap. I would do something more interesting with the master on this case.
