Each of these models was created in collaboration with the Marine Conservation Society and is produced in a limited edition of 300 watches.
This organization is dedicated to cleaning the oceans of plastic waste. By selling his models, Spinnaker contributes financially to the event.
During the review, you will be convinced that this limited edition is not just a marketing ploy, but a really small work of art, since the guys equipped the watch dials with a squid, a whale and a turtle, which amazingly glow in the dark.
Plus a rich and bright set.
Equipment
The packaging of each of our models is identical, so we will look at one in detail.
Bright, beautifully painted. It immediately stands out from the standard Spinnaker boxes.
Inside we will find a booklet that describes the problems of plastic pollution in the oceans, a thank you card that you are participating in a program to support the protection of oceans from plastic, and a certificate that indicates the limited model number and indicates the author of the drawings. This is one Rachel Brooks.
We didn't end there.
In the retractable slot you will find a high-quality additional strap, which is made from the same recycled ocean waste.
There is also a tool for replacing it, additional pins and several more cards, one of which, again, with a limited model number.
And of course the watch itself.
Watch Spinnaker Cahill Limited Edition CALAMAR RED SP-5125-11
The first model with a pattern of a giant squid on the dial is based on the Cahill collection.
Of course, the design on the dial itself is the feature that will make this watch quickly fly away. People love exclusivity, and here it is in full force. (All already sold)
The image of a squid is not only on the dial, but also as an engraving on the back of the watch.
The case itself and the bracelet are made of 316l stainless steel. Almost completely satin. There are thin, as is now fashionable, stripes of mirror polishing at the junction of the side and top surfaces, which gives a little more volume.
The quality of the finish is excellent for the price.
The dimensions are as follows:
Diameter - 43 mm, from lug to lug - 51 mm, thickness - 14 mm, weight - 184 grams.
On my hand it is 18 cm. It fits well in girth, but the watch is large. If your wrist is larger, then this is only a plus.
Bezel 120 clicks counterclockwise. The Bardot color matches the dial. Aluminum insert.
In this case, there is no saving on ceramics. Microbrands don't skimp on this. It’s just that such a tone better emphasizes the color of the dial and reflects the vintage, diving style of the model.
The bezel itself rotates confidently. The grip is comfortable, there are no backlashes. The design sits just below the anti-reflective sapphire crystal, making it physically difficult to hit.
The bracelet is of excellent quality. I like both the shape and the geometric finish. Nothing is broken anywhere.
The clasp is a little outdated though. Folding with double fixation. But it looks good, and there are no problems with comfort.
I mentioned all the characteristics except water resistance of 300 meters and Japanese Seiko NH35A mechanics. Mechanically, we shouldn’t have expected anything else in this budget. Excellent proven and problem-free fur.
Well, now, of course, let's watch the tastiest thing. This is the dial.
It's kind of a retro burgundy color. There is a blue border around the circumference with minute markings, which rises above the main plate and gives additional volume.
Both the markers and the clock hands are very massive. The second hand is highlighted in blue with an outer edge and a red tip.
Date on black background and red font. It fits perfectly into the overall tone of the dial.
Below is the inscription Limited Edition.
And of course the squid itself. Not only does it look cool, but let me surprise you with the Swiss Super Luminova in the dark.
Of all the models that I will show, this is the most affordable today.
Total 13875 UAH. I say “just something” because it’s really a gift for the money.

Watch Spinnaker Hass Limited Edition TURTLE GREEN SP-5123-11
The model is made on the basis of the Hass collection and contains a turtle design on the dial.
When you take the watch in your hands, you immediately feel that, in comparison with the previous one, they are more massive and heavier.
In general, I brought the first watch from the Hass series a year ago. They were then taken apart like pies.
Let's start with the disadvantages. Bezel 120 clicks counterclockwise. It is graded with two tracks. The green one has a countdown scale, and the silver one has classic markings.
The grip of the bezel is comfortable, the movement is good, but there is a slight play here. But the play is not obvious; you need to make an effort to feel it.
This is where the minor disadvantages will probably end and only advantages will follow.
The case and bracelet are again made of 316l stainless steel. The quality of finishing is at the level of the previous model. That is, very good.
The turtle is not only on the dial, but also engraved on the back of the watch.
Watch sizes:
Diameter - 43 mm, from lug to lug - 51 mm, thickness - 15 mm, weight - 196 grams.
You know, it remains a mystery to me how, with a larger thickness, this watch feels less on my hand than the previous model. But they really fit like a glove.
The bracelet in the watch is visually similar to the previous model, but the geometry is more complicated here. Center links with a combination of mirror polished and satin finish edges.
The clasp is the same as on the first watch.
Let's see the strap. It feels incredibly pleasant to the touch. And I really like the marsh color. By the way, the bonus is really nice.
The characteristics of our watches do not differ from the previous ones.
The same Seiko NH35A movement, the same 300-meter water resistance, anti-reflective sapphire.
And of course we look at the dial.
A very beautiful gradient from light green to green. In the center is a mother turtle and a baby turtle.
Please note that the date is on a green background and the hour and minute hands are faded. This does not really affect readability, but I think that it was done on purpose, so that the emphasis was on the drawing.
And of course, let's admire the lume.
The cost of this model in my store today is 16,688 UAH.
And it is still very democratic for all the quality and emotions that these watches give.
Watch Spinnaker Spence 300 Limited Edition WHALE BLUE SP-5124-11
The last and most expensive model of our trio will be Spinnaker based on the Spence collection.
The center of this model is the whale.
Its image, as in other models, you will find not only on the dial, but also in the form of an engraving on the back of the watch.
316l stainless steel case and bracelet. The quality of finish here is noticeably better than in previous models.
In general, I want to note that with the same water protection of 300 meters, the case was noticeably more accurate.
Diameter - 40 mm, from lug to lug - 48 mm, thickness - 11 mm, weight - 148 grams.
They fit perfectly on my hand.
On the case, let's also look at the bezel. It is completely made of stainless steel. Looks good, but the sides are a little sharp. The finishing could have been a little better.
The bracelet looks visually simpler than in previous watches, but the quality of the finish and geometry is the best.
Plus, the most expensive clasp here is the clapper. There are so many divisions to expand and contract the bracelet.
In terms of characteristics, these watches differ only in the mechanism. A more expensive Japanese watch from Citizen with the Miyota 9039 caliber is installed here.
The rest is the same. Water protection - 300 meters. Sapphire with anti-reflective coating.
The strap is similar to everything I showed, only in the color of our dial.
The dial, on the one hand, is simple, but on the other, it looks expensive.
Beautiful blue color, beautiful picture of a whale. Large and clear hour markers. Readability is good.
And of course we look at the lume.
The cost of this model today is 24375 UAH.
Why is this watch more expensive than the previous ones?
They have noticeably better finishing quality, a better bracelet, a better clasp.
Their mechanism is more expensive. And with a water resistance of 300 meters, the dimensions are really small. For many, this is important, since the more water resistance, the thicker the watch usually is.
Therefore, if all these nuances are important to you, then it’s worth overpaying so that you understand that these are not the same watch, but Spinnaker drew numbers from your head.
If we talk about all the models, then when I first saw them, it was unrealistic to order. And thank God that they still were, because it is not always possible to bring such an exclusive.
The watch is cool. They will find their buyers and have already managed to find some models. They're in short supply and definitely won't last long.
