German style from Hemel Stratus

Friends, hello everyone. You are on the channel about Feeltime watches, Stanislav is with you as always, and today we will talk about the American Hemel watches from the Stratus collection.
Today the thought occurred to me that many Hemel models are essentially made in German style.
We know that the Germans are strong in aviator watches. Hemel initially adopted this style. And evaluating their lineup, I understand that these are affordable versions of German watches.
Because well-known German brands that work in this style cost a lot of money. Hemel is more accessible in this regard.
I will have 2 models for review. Visually they are the same, but they are different watches, since one has Japanese mechanics, and the other has Japanese Meka quartz.
I just recently released a video about quartz watches and said that mechanics are gradually squeezing out quartz. However, some brands still make different versions of the same model, realizing that there are people who find quartz closer and more convenient.
Each Hemel model comes in a bright orange box. Simple, compact and convenient. It literally says, “Throw away after opening.” Thus, Hemel hints that the box is simply for transportation.
The set will include a booklet with the brand's model range and a nice napkin for caring for the glass and watch case.
As for the design, we can see absolute minimalism, a pronounced aviator style.
The first thing that almost immediately catches your eye about all Hemel watches is their straps.
Thick genuine leather, perfectly stitched with beige thread. 2 rivets on the case are a signature element of the style of aviator watches.
Nice enough clasp.
316l stainless steel body. It is satin-finished. Very nice finish. I also like how they made transitions on the ears in several steps. This is visible only upon careful examination, and I will attribute this to those little things that distinguish more budget watches from more expensive ones.

The bezel is ceramic. For 120 clicks. The grip is comfortable. I like the ride, but I don't really like the sound. With some springy aftertaste. And this is on almost all Hemel models with a similar design.
The back cover is minimalistic. The brand, collection, and mechanism are easily engraved here - this is the Japanese Miyota 9039, which operates at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour with a power reserve of 42 hours.
Sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating and water resistance - 100 metres, which is excellent for this style.
On board the quartz model there is a Japanese meka quartz Seiko VH31, in which the movement of the second hand is imitated by mechanics. This is a feature of meka quartz.
Thus, the following trend is visible: many people want to see a smoother hand movement even in quartz watches, like in mechanics.
I see differences in dials only in the signatures automatic and electronic.
Let's get a look.
Readability is excellent. There is absolutely nothing superfluous here. Large, printed minute markings clearly highlight the 3,6,9 and 12 o'clock markers.
The orange seconds hand is also highlighted.
There is no date here, I think this is the right move. She's clearly out of place here.
And you will definitely be pleased with the Swiss Super Luminova.
Watch dimensions: diameter - 42 mm, from lug to lug - 49 mm, thickness - 13 mm, weight 92 grams.
Even on my small wrist, 18 cm. The girth of the watch fits perfectly, but on a larger hand, it seems to me, it will be even better.
What about the prices?
As of today, the mechanical version in my Feeltime online store is 20,900 UAH, quartz - 17,700 UAH
What can I say based on the results? The Americans Hemel, as I said earlier, decided to make quite affordable watches in the signature German aviator style.
There is a nice design here, the quality of the watch is excellent. The maximum possible characteristics that are appropriate specifically for this watch, and that the microbrand can offer.
