This is the first chronograph from the iconic Swiss Rado Captain Cook R32145158.
The model in Ukraine was presented in several colors of the dial. Black gradient and blue. Classic. Most popular colors.
And I want to note right away that if you like the watch, you shouldn’t think for a long time, since there are only a few of them in Ukraine.

What's included?
Well then. Let's put the preludes aside and jump right into the unboxing.
From the box it is immediately clear that this is a real luxury.
Inside you will find the watch itself, a compartment with bonus genuine leather straps and a NATO textile strap, plus a small envelope in which you will find additional studs for replacing straps.
Under the main slot, there is a guide and a warranty card, which shows the number of the watch, which must match the number on the back of the watch, which confirms the originality.
Done with the box. The impressions are the most pleasant.
Iconic Design
Now to the clock itself.
Of course, this is a recognizable and unchanged design of the iconic retro divers "Captain Cook".
The design of the watch is absolutely unique and you will always recognize it on a person's hand even from a mile away.
Actually this is one of the reasons why you pay a lot of money for watches. Your face is not cheap. Exactly the same way you, for example, choose cars. You know for sure that this one is a BMW, and this one is an Audi. Simply because there are characteristics.
And here it is all there.
Dimensions
The body is made of 316l stainless steel. Diameter - 43 mm, thickness 14.8 mm, weight - 190 grams.
The body is fully polished. The quality of the finish is top notch.
The bezel has a ceramic insert. By the way, I want to note that the edges are sharp to the touch. And the grip is not the most comfortable. I have already done reviews for you on previous generations of Captain Cook watches, and in my memory in all previous watches the bezels were more comfortable.
If you do not take into account the convenience, it visually looks very elegant and harmoniously complements the dial.
The buttons are massive and comfortable. Anchor engraved head. All are screwed down for better tightness. The water resistance of our watch is 300 meters.
Bracelet quality
Excellent quality bracelet. There is already a combination of patination on the central links and mirror polishing on the side links. Geometry, quality finishes. Everything is on top.
Plus a chic flapper clasp. And it looks expensive, and really very comfortable.
From the inside we can see that the bracelet has a quick change system.
And in this little envelope you will find two extra hairpins.
The watch comes with two premium straps. One of genuine brown leather.
The quality is impeccable. This can be seen not only externally, but also felt tactile. Gorgeous flap clasp.
The second strap is nylon NATO. And it's also premium. Starting from the material, ending with accessories. Just look at the same clasp that has intricate edges, brand micro engravings, intricate transitions.
The set is of course very cool and the watch with such a set can be given a very different look!
Well, this is how the watch sits on my hand 18 cm in girth. This is my size. On a larger hand they will look even more respectable.
Clock face
The dial itself is made absolutely in the spirit of the previous Captain Cook models and is absolutely recognizable. Only now there is a chronograph with recessed windows for the 30-minute counter and the main second hand.
All this adds volume, as do the applied hour markers and domed sapphire crystal with external and internal anti-glare.
We can also see a branded rotating anchor under the Rado brand. Let me remind you that it is placed on a unique crystal, and if it stops rotating, it means that the mechanism requires maintenance.
The arrows have a familiar, brutal shape. The chronograph second hand is marked with a red tip.
The date is discreetly placed on a silver dial at 6 o'clock.
The gradient from silver gray to black looks very expensive.
Well, of course, that the Swiss Super Luminova, which glows in the dark.

Own mechanism
The model is equipped with its own R801 movement, which runs on 37 jewels and has a power reserve of 59 hours.
You can admire the mechanism through the back of the watch. True, now there is a film here, but I already see that the quality of the finish is on top.

And what do we actually have as a result?
We have the iconic “Captain Cook”, which adhere to the good old design, and this is definitely good, since the face of the brand must be preserved, and it is already rendered, clear and understandable.
We have the first chronograph "Captain Cook" that some will like and others will not. In the end, the brand gives you the choice.
