I have already shown you different versions of these watches more than once, but the brand’s model is already somewhat iconic, so after some time I want to refresh it.

A few words about packaging. Now almost all Certina watches come in this eco-friendly box made from recycled ocean waste.

According to the documents, this certificate card will be pleasant. This is a certified diver's model that meets ISO6425 standards.
And this card is actually a certificate.
Well, let's go to the model itself.
Of course, it’s a little strange to me when this watch is called a Rolex homage. Question: “In what place are they similar to him?”
Well, except that the body shape is round. In this regard, of course, yes, they are certainly similar, so we can safely say that this is a Rolex Submariner homage. Okay, this is all sarcasm.
To me, the watch looks like a pure Certina. If you know this design, you will always recognize this watch on your wrist.
And this is a huge plus, because look at them, in fact, there are no pronounced elements, no flashy details. That is, chips through which the watch is recognized.
Nevertheless, this watch has its own distinct face.
I want to start right away with the sizes.
The diameter of this beauty is 43 mm, from lug to lug - 51 mm, thickness - 13.1 mm, weight - 113 grams.
To be honest, lately I’ve been wearing watches with a diameter of no more than 40 mm, but I really like these ones. They seem to be large, but on my thin arm they are 18 cm. The girth fits quite harmoniously.
But in general, keep in mind that they are large. On a large wrist they will look like family.

The coating is matte. When this kind of coating occurs, there is not much to say about the finishing. The texture of the metal is not visible. Overall, it feels like everything is done well.
There are mirror polish accents on the bezel rim and markers and on the crown. This gives the watch more visual volume.
If we consider the watch from the point of view of convenience, then everything is done perfectly.
It is worth understanding that these are certified divers. Therefore, they are expected to meet certain requirements.

As for the bezel, it is implemented really well. Comfortable grip. A very confident move. Listen to how pleasant the clicks sound.
The head is also very comfortable. The shape is elongated, so it is convenient to grab onto it. Visually, it is somewhat reminiscent of Longin Hydroconquest heads, but it is not sharp, unlike Longin.
The brand name is on the back of this watch. This is an expensive Certina turtle engraving. Unfortunately, I won’t be able to show it in real life, since here the lid is closed by a strap, and, to my shame, I don’t know how to remove the pins. So let's make do with a picture.
Excellent quality nylon strap. Soft, comfortable. The fittings and clasp are black to match the color of the case.
A huge number of holes for any wrist.
Nice belt. I like it.
And of course we look at the dial.
Remember our diving requirements? It reads brilliantly. The contrast of white and black is perfect.
Neat markings. The hands have a gray border and do not stand out from the overall style.
At the top there is the brand logo and the year of foundation, at the bottom there is the name of the collection, a mark that it is a certified diver and the water protection of the watch.
The dial is definitely not only beautifully implemented, but also perfectly readable.
What do we have in terms of unnamed characteristics?

And on board the Powermatic 80.611 with a huge power reserve of 80 hours. Operates at a frequency of 21600 vibrations per hour.
As for the plastic parts, which some people worry about, this mechanism does not have them.
Overall, this is one of Certina's most popular movements today.
What about the price?
Today it is 44,520 UAH, which is equivalent to almost $1,100.
And in fact, this is a great option for everyday divers for the price tag.
There is a recognizable design, there is good quality, there is ergonomics and excellent readability, there is a cool mechanism, there is a certified diver, there is an old and well-known brand.
