Friends, hello everyone! Stanislav, Feeltime.com.ua online store is with you and today, for the first time on my channel, a Swiss Hamilton watch from the Khaki Aviation collection. That is the pilot's watch.
The Hamilton brand needs no introduction. This is the oldest watch brand, founded in the USA in 1892, in the 1980s it was bought by the Swatch Group and since the 2000s all production has been moved to Switzerland.
The history of the Hamilton brand is very rich. In addition, Hamilton watches have appeared on the hands of stars in top films a huge number of times. Perhaps a little later I will make a separate video about the history of the brand, but today let's talk about our model.
Unboxing
Let's start with unpacking. Protective box in black and inside the main box in wood color. Nice, beaten quality. In the box itself we will find our wonderful watch. I like that the colors of the packaging are matched to the aviator style.
The protective box has a separate slot in which there is an international warranty and instructions, including Russian.
Super Promotion
I will not put it off until later and will announce that today this model is just a hell of a discount. The full price of the watch is 36170 UAH. BUT, at a discount until 12/01/2022, their price is only 21702 UAH. There are 2 nuances here. First: It's just a free price, because in my opinion this watch is absolutely worth its full price. Secondly, the fact that the promotion is indicated until December 1, 2022 is to some extent not entirely relevant, since there are very few of these models left in the warehouses of Ukraine and with such a price, I am sure they will be sorted out this month.
When I examined this watch in the store, they immediately evoked the most positive emotions in me. Usually the Swiss always save somewhere for such a price. It may be the quality of the bracelet, it may be a partially stamped clasp. But in this model, I absolutely do not feel any savings.

And perhaps I’ll start with a bracelet, since usually it’s the Swiss bracelets that fall short of this price somewhere.
It is made of 316l stainless steel. Satin-finished with very small stripes of mirror polish on the central links, which gives additional visual volume. The quality of the finish is excellent, as is the geometry of the bracelet. It is very confidently fixed to the body, completely cast and does not bulge anywhere.
A pleasant impression of the bracelet was complemented by a fully molded clapperboard clasp. Look at that cool clasp. Beautiful, comfortable, and there is also a small gap for adjusting the length of the side holes.
Case quality
The quality of the case is also excellent. Again, a combination of satin finish and mirror polishing at the junction of the side and top surfaces and on the welt.
On the back cover of the watch there is a shallow but pleasant engraving and the characteristics of this model are partially written out.
Let's take measurements. The case diameter is 43 mm, from lug to lug is 50 mm, the thickness is 11.5 mm, the width of the bracelet is 20 mm, the weight of the watch is 189 grams. You take them in your hands and you immediately feel a very pleasant heaviness. For me, this is definitely a plus.
This is how this beauty looks on my hand 18 cm in girth. They sit like a glove. And note that the bracelet is so soft that it literally wraps around my wrist. Although it should be understood that this is a large watch and the minimum wrist should be from 17 cm.
Clock face
Well, here we smoothly approached the cherry on top of the cake. The watch face is just some kind of magic. Of course, it is worth noting that these are pilot's watches, so here is the classic markup for this style. Large Arabic numerals and triangle at 12 o'clock.
Small dials are somewhat reminiscent of aircraft instruments.
The dial itself has a dark gray color and is made in a vertical texture. This immediately catches the eye and makes the watch expensive.
Separately, I want to highlight the small dial. If you look clearly straight ahead, it seems that they are varnished and seated deep into the dial. But when you look from the side, it is clear that there is no strong depth there, so it remains a mystery to me how the designers of Hamilton watches achieved such an amazing effect.
The date base is made in black, which is nice, as it says that the brand bothers with little things, because the standard plate of the movement is white.
The dial markings are partially covered with the Swiss Super Luminova, but in terms of not the glow itself, since it is bright, but the markings are not very informative.
Watch Specifications
On board the watch is a Swiss, quartz movement ETA251.274 on 22 stones. There is a stopwatch-chronograph with counters of 30 minutes, 60 seconds and 1/10 second. With a click, the top button starts, the top button stops, and the bottom button instantly resets.
Scratch-resistant sapphire glass with anti-reflective coating and water resistance up to 100 meters. At the same time, the central button is screwed for better tightness of the case.
In general, everything is as it should be for a pilot's watch. A set of essential features.
Results
What I want to say in conclusion. If we start from the full price of 36170 UAH, then I would say that the Swiss Hamilton is more than worth this money. This is a wonderful design, quality materials, no savings on the bracelet and clasp, excellent performance, chic dial.
But if we talk about the discounted price of 21702 UAH, then this is really a gift and I strongly recommend using this opportunity. Especially in the current situation.
