Friends, hello everyone. You are on the channel about Feeltime watches. With you, as always, Stanislav, and today we will consider the watches of the Japanese brand, which, if you follow the channel, I don’t really like. This is Orient.

My Brand Prejudice

Of course, there are exceptions in the form of the Orient Star collection, which I try to perceive as a completely different brand, but the classic models for me personally smell of mothballs.  

I know that many will disagree with me, I have seen comments a million times in the spirit: “It is better to buy Seiko. Better buy Orient. A similar herd feeling towards these brands also causes me a feeling of some slight dislike.  

But this is my personal opinion. You may have your own opinion on this matter. By the way, I'm happy to read it in the comments.  

In general, considering that I recently filmed a review on Citizen watches, in which I cursed a little at Orient and Seiko and their very overpriced for mediocre quality, then when we had a not the most budget model for the M-Force brand on our shelves, I decided see if I'm wrong. Maybe something is still changing?

As for the design of the watch, I immediately want to say that it is very unusual and original. If you saw it once, you already know that this is the Orient M-Force. This is definitely a plus.  

Personally, this watch reminds me of Mako 3 on steroids.  

Of course, the size immediately catches the eye, and this brutal shield-protection at the crown, which, in fact, creates that element of model recognition.  

The case is almost completely satin. There is a mirror polish along its upper part of the circumference and on the verge of the bevel of the lugs.  

Please note that on the one hand, the bezel is protected by this brutal block, and on the other hand, it is, as it were, slightly recessed into the part of the case.  

There are no issues in terms of finishing . Everything is fine.  

The bezel is comfortable. 120 clicks counterclockwise. The sound is absolutely typical for Orient watches. You can't confuse him. I don't feel backlash.  

The back cover , I would say, is as simple and dull as possible. Also in the spirit of the Orient.  

The characteristics are written out and from the pleasant one can see that the watch is completely made in Japan , unlike many budget Orient watches, which are only partially assembled in Japan today.

In terms of size , the manufacturer declared a diameter of 45 mm, and with part of the protection I checked 47.5 mm, from ear to ear - 52 mm, thickness - 13.5 mm, weight - 130 grams.

On my arm 18 cm. They sit well in girth. Rubber strap. Very soft and the quality is really great.  

The only thing is that the clasp is a terrible dullness. For the price of this watch, it's a shame.

I scolded a little, only good things will continue.  

Very nice dial . Gradient from green to black.

Applied hour markers with beautiful luminescent. These are certified divers who comply with ISO6425 standards.

So the lume should be excellent, as well as good water resistance, which is 200 meters here, as well as a comfortable bezel, which is also present in the watch.  

The second hand is highlighted in bright yellow. The date is not an eyesore once again and is neatly located on a black backing. This is good.  

Closes the dial flat, sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating. The design of the watch makes it virtually impossible for anything to collide with it.  

Mechanism

Also of the amenities is its own mechanical caliber F6922, which runs on 22 stones, has a power reserve of 40 hours, and a frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour.  

Results

The price of this monster in my Feeltime store and in general in Ukraine is 24840 UAH. There is also a black case version. It is several thousand more expensive.  

What I want to say.  

The hours are good. Recognizable design, good quality materials, nice dial, comfortable strap, certified diver, own movement.  

Among the shortcomings, I note a dull back cover, a poor clasp on the strap.

On this, in fact, that's all, only that same smack of naphthalene does not leave me firmly.  

I look at them and try to understand where this bitterness comes from. And I can't explain myself.  

Everything seems to be fine, but it seems that the Orient got stuck somewhere in the year 2010. Both in design and in price. And when you go to their official website, you get the feeling that in general in the 2000s.  

In general, I have mixed impressions about the watch. I tried to be as objective as possible.
