Great budget German Zeppelin

Let me remind you that the brand is quite young, but these are probably the most affordable German watches you can buy today.  

The Germans make it cool, they have their own design, which is more aimed at the aviation and military theme, but they are usually expensive. Well-known German watches such as Sinn, Laso are not cheap at all.  

Also, in my memory, Zeppelin are the only Germans who give the opportunity to buy a purely German watch for little money.  

The watch comes in a budget-friendly box. I don't have any documents at hand right now, but if you remember, in the last review I asked what kind of warranty was in the form of some old document.  

Also, I was reminded that in 1930 it was a ticket for the Zeppelin airship. Thanks for the help. The idea, of course, is cool.  

What I want to tell you about design. Zeppelin definitely found their face. Most of the watches are pretty similar and that's not a bad thing.

This, in general, applies not only to Zeppelins, but to most Germans. Guys are conservative.  

We see a pattern that takes us back to the last century. Retro style military watch face.  

I would like to say that the shape of the case and its geometry, plus the shape of the dial plate are not at all different from the model that I recently showed.

Although these are different collections. This model is from the Los Angeles series.

And I see a trend that almost all Zeppelin watches are in a similar case.  

That is, what are the boys doing? They messed up the working design of the case, the shape of the dial, and then they just play with the filling, which actually radically changes the perception of the watch.  

You can see that dial with complications. Here you have a large date and a second watch belt, which is displayed in a separate window in the lower part of the main dial and is regulated by the lower valve on the case.  

The price of this watch is only UAH 12,050, so for those in the know, it will immediately be obvious that it is quartz, because mechanics with such complications in the price would fly into space.  

Swiss quartz Ronda 6203.B is inserted on board the model. What I like is that Zeppelin inserts not popular and rare mechanisms from the Swiss and Japanese into its watches.  

This is a big plus, because many mechanisms are simply fed up.  

The same body is made of stainless steel 316l. Fully polished. The quality is good for its price tag.  

The back cover of the watch is engraved with a Zeppelin airship and some specifications. By the way, if the watch says Made In Germany, then it is really made in Germany. It’s not like Swiss Made, which in some watches is just a nominal inscription)

The strap, by the way, pleased me more than the case. Is this genuine leather. Handmade grasshopper skin. Made in Germany.  

Pleasant color, pleasant to the touch, well stitched with a thread. But the fastener is as simple as possible. According to the gender of the case.  

The dimensions are as follows: diameter - 42 mm, from lug to lug - 49 mm, thickness - 12 mm, weight - 72 grams.

18cm on my wrist. The size fits well, but I would recommend this watch for a larger hand.  

Before we look at the dial, let me talk about the specs.  

It is mineral glass and water resistant to 50 meters. If everything is okay with waterproofing, because for this style you don't need more, but mineral glass is an economy. And in this sense, it applies to almost every Zeppelin watch, because even on more expensive models they usually put mineral water. It's weird.  

Well, let's look at the dial.

Conditionally from is divided into two parts. The main one is in the middle, and then there is a bevel of the dial to the bottom, and we can see the scale of the heart rate monitor on this bevel.  

I don't know how it works and I'm not even going to figure it out. Such functions as a heart rate monitor and a tachymeter in analog watches in 24 years are unnecessary complications.  

The only proper role they play is to complement the design. Because it looks better that way.  

The main dial looks great. Very nice color. Retro marking with Arabic numerals. Retro arrows of black color.  

I definitely like the large date and it is very readable.  

Definitely love the small dial with the second watch band.  

And in terms of marking, it's perfect. Under the large date of the derezhable, the name of the brand. In the right corner, the collection is carefully displayed, and in the bottom, the testamentary inscription Made in Germany.  

Also, the dial is really handsome.  

What I want to say in conclusion.  

I like these watches. On the one hand, they are simple. I can't say it's super quality, but that simplicity is done well. As they say, a very broken watch.  

What's really cool here is your design, which you won't confuse with anything.  

This watch can be worn every day without any problems, in terms of clothing, it will not cause any particular problems. For lovers of military themes, it is generally a must-have.  

In my opinion, it is more interesting than the Japanese and Swiss brands that are filled with scum. Moreover, in this budget, there is little that is really good.
