Friends, hello everyone, you are on the channel about Feeltime watches. And today we have 2 models from the Swiss brand Atlantic on our review at once. Moreover, one of them is on a manufactory mechanism, and the second is a limited edition.
And to be honest, after the first acquaintance with the brand, I did not think that I would ever shoot Atlantic watches again.
The first model that fell into my hands at the beginning of the war evoked the feeling of a frankly cheap watch for a frankly high price.
And now I understand that in that review I was too lenient on the clock.
Moreover, not only did I stop shooting these watches, I removed all Atlantic models from our site. Just because it's hard for me to make money on what I don't like.
But recently the guys showed me several Atlantic models, which at first glance caused quite pleasant emotions and a feeling of really high-quality watches.
Therefore, I suggest that we get to know these watches together. You look and are rehabilitated.
Atlantic Worldmaster Mechanical Manufacture Caliber 52952.41.93
Let's start with this model, which is called the Atlantic Worldmaster Mechanical Manufacture Caliber. The name of the watch itself indicates that the in-house caliber is installed here. We will talk about it later.
The watch comes in a nice wooden box. It's certainly not a real tree. And if you look at the box, you can see, of course, that the quality is very simple. But as a nice box for transporting watches, this is it.
Design
As for the design of the watch, I want to say that it is a pleasant vintage. The model immediately stands out from the total mass of Atlantic watches. That is, I literally approach the stand and this model is of interest.
I feel about the same feeling when I approach the stand with Orient watches, and I see how Orient Star stands out against the background of ordinary models.
Finish quality
The body is 100% polished. The quality of the finish is very pleasant.
The crown is large and fits comfortably under the fingers.
Dimensions
The dimensions are as follows:
Diameter - 42 mm is stated on the official website, but my tool showed 41.5 mm, Ear to ear - 51 mm, Thickness is again declared 11.9 mm, but I measured 11.3 mm, Weight - 89 grams.
On my hand 18 cm. In the girth, the watch sits well. But the length between the lugs is decent, so you should understand that most likely this hand size is the minimum for this watch. Better to have a bigger wrist.
Strap
The strap is of very good quality. Made of genuine brown leather and neatly stitched with a thread.
In general, I can say that the strap is really tactile and visually feels quality. And this is important, since the Swiss can often supply very mediocre straps to cool cases even for a decent price. Here I have no sense of economy.
The butterfly clasp is also comfortable and harmoniously complements the strap.
Clock face
And we are getting closer and closer to the most delicious.
Let's start with the dial. Really cool, cream color with yellow hands and Arabic hour markers. Moreover, it is very important that the arrows and marks with a black border. This creates clear and understandable contours and has a good effect on the readability of the watch.
Minute markings are displayed on the extreme part of the dial.
In its upper part there is the brand logo and the year of foundation, in the lower part you can see a slightly recessed small dial of the main second hand and the cherished inscription “Swiss Made”, which in this model, unlike many other Atlantic watches, really has weight.
On the hands and hour markers is the Swiss Super Luminova, which accumulates energy and glows in the dark.
manufacturing mechanism
And now we move on to the main cherry of the clock.
This is a manufacture mechanism of ATL-2's own production.
Unfortunately, I did not find much information on it and can only build on what I see and what I read on the official website.
In fact, it has a non-automatic movement on 17 jewels with a power reserve of 53 hours. The movement operates at a frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour.
Well, you should understand that the mechanism without automatic winding requires more attention on your part. On the other hand, it well emphasizes the vintageness of the model.
As for the decoration itself, I want to say that there is something to admire here. Excellent quality finishes. Sandblasted on the plates that cover the mechanism, blued fixing screws.
It looks really expensive and this is definitely the strong point of the watch.
Of the remaining characteristics, I note a slightly domed, tempered sapphire crystal and a water resistance of 50 meters, which is a classic for watches in vintage style.

In the meantime, I want to say that I really liked the watch. Cool design. Straight to the point. A very interesting mechanism. That's nothing for me to particularly complain about.

Atlantic Worldmaster Automatic Limited Edition 52780.41.51
Well, we are moving on and next we will have a limited edition called Atlantic Worldmaster Open Heart.
This is a self-winding mechanical movement powered by the popular SW200 movement and produced in a limited edition of 888 pieces worldwide.
Design
Here is a more modern design. Absolutely casual watches that are perfect for almost any style, of course, besides sports.
Right off the bat, I would like to highlight the rather complex shape of the case, despite its deceptive simplicity when viewed from a distance, and the excellent quality of the combined finish.
You can see that the central part of the side surface seems to have a recess. This surface is mirror polished, and then there is a transition to satin.
There is also a mirror-polished edge between the side and top of the lugs. This combination gives the correct volume and a more prestigious appearance of the watch.
Dimensions
According to the dimensions on the official website, the diameter is 42 mm, but again I measured it at 41.3 mm, plus from ear to ear - 50 mm, The thickness of the official is 10.3 mm, I measured it at 9.7 mm. Weight - 88 grams.

On my hand, they feel a little more accurate than the previous model. Due to the shorter length of the ears. But in general, there is still a feeling that they will look noticeably better on a large hand.
Strap
The strap is nice, but I like it less than in the previous model. Here it is made of genuine calf leather. Visually under a crocodile.
The clasp is absolutely the same quality as I showed in another model. Nice, comfortable butterfly.
Clock face
Let's move on to the main menu. This is a dial.
Very nice, dark blue, matte shade. Immediately striking is the open balance at 12 o'clock. And note that the Atlantic interestingly beat him by inserting their brand logo in the form of the letter “A” with an anchor.
Wedge-shaped arrows. Laid-on labels with polishing. Contrast is excellent, as is readability.
Lum is applied to the hands and 3 marks at 3, 6 and 9 o'clock. The glow is quite dim. Especially compared to the previous ones.
Closes all this beauty sapphire, flat glass.
Mechanism
Here we smoothly approached the mechanism.
On board the watch is the popular Swiss movement Sellita SW200, proven over the years. The movement is powered by 26 jewels with a frequency of 28800 and has a power reserve of 38 hours.
There are no questions about this mechanism. It is very reliable, absolutely hassle-free and quite accurate.
Water resistance is expected to be 50 meters for this style.

General results
I am ready to sum up.
Let's start with the fact that in my eyes the Atlantic brand was rehabilitated by these models.
Now I can clearly distinguish for myself that there is an inexpensive and not interesting Atlantic, and there are watches that deserve attention.
The first model is made perfectly, has an interesting design, excellent quality. I had nothing to complain about.
Particular attention to the mechanism. Purely in terms of performance and visually, it looks very worthy. As for its reliability, time will tell.
For the price of the first model, I want to say that it is reasonable for such a quality, but it causes some friction due to the fact that it is an Atlantic.
That is, there are a sufficient number of Swiss in this price segment, who will offer no less interesting models.
And it seems that the watch is absolutely felt at this price, but for this price I already want a brand, and, unfortunately, I cannot call Atlantic some kind of powerful brand today.
Here the story is similar to the epic. The watch is good quality and worth the money. And if you are ready to miss the brand, then the purchase will greatly please you.
For the second model, almost the same conclusions are drawn.
Cool design, cool quality, excellent, time-tested mechanism, it's nice that the limited edition of 888 watches in the world.
But there are still enough competitors with a stronger brand.
