Swiss Chronometer Invicta 16943 COSC

The Invicta brand almost immediately evokes some associations: for some it's a big watch, for some it's just huge. In general, the classic design does not exactly fit within the invicta. Nevertheless, the guys here clearly understand that they literally need to please everyone, so they periodically release watches in the forms familiar to most. This time the company pleased with the novelty Invicta 16943 Specialty , which is also a certified COSC chronometer with increased accuracy (error per month +/- 2 seconds).
In general, it is difficult to say that the watch turned out to be small. Case diameter 45 mm, thickness 15 mm, weight 107 grams. This watch will look good on almost any man's wrist. It's more of a matter of habit. If you've always worn a watch with a 35mm case, then of course the Invicta 16943 specialty will seem big. But as practice shows, you get used to good things quickly. It’s hard to roll back later, and you don’t want to. Often, a small watch is perceived only as a watch, but a large one is already an accessory, which is an important part of the style.
Well, let's figure out what kind of watch and what they eat with. Let's start with a question that worries many: "Does the gilding wear off?". I've known Invicta for 4 years, I've only met two cases when the gilding in "Swiss Parts" watches (Swiss parts, Chinese assembly) slipped. In Swiss Made watches "made in Switzerland" (our case), the gilding is done with high quality. Invicta claims to be gilding using the unique "Swiss Gold" technology. I am sure that this is nothing more than a marketing ploy, but the main thing for us is that everything matches the promises.
The strap is made of genuine calf leather. The color is very beautiful, the quality is good. The combination with the color of the case and the dial, as for me, is excellent. The shape and fastening of the strap is not specific, as on many Invicta watches, so changing it to another (not original) is not difficult.
The dial is large, beautiful, readability is 5+. The hands are luminescent and glow well in the dark. In terms of functionality, here you can see a stopwatch (chronograph), and a useless tachymeter scale, which is located around the circumference of the dial. It performs its function perfectly, with it the dial looks more solid. :)
Well, let's sum up. The Invicta 16943 Specialty is a high quality watch that is closer to the classic in design but still above average in size. It is very important that this watch is Swiss Made, which is gradually becoming a rarity in Invicta.
PS Oh yes, the price of the watch is absolutely affordable. Well, of course, this is only subject to comparison with something more or less similar to other brands. Invicta is not very popular, so there are no overpayments for the name, which catches up with status and importance :)
